![]() Wonder what's in store with them.... :-o How did people like agents in previous games? I thought the best-used ones were in Shogun II; each of them couldn't be simply blown off 'cause they would all cause havoc to your empire if you let them fester and grow stronger. They all seemed to interact with one another in a balanced, yet powerful, manner too.

If I had to guess, Rome II's agents will function more like Medieval 2's, or even Rome I's, which were extremely simple in use. Perhaps CA will make their interactions more complicated in this game, however. We only have an screenshot to work off of after all, unfortunately.

"I will find a way -- or make one." These were the words of Hannibal; Rome's greatest enemy, and one of the finest minds in military history. He would come to conquer much of Italy during his wars with the growing Republic, but before this, he achieved the impossible. In one of the most daring gambits the world has ever seen, he attacked Rome in her own backyard. This new ROME II trailer uses Hannibal's remarkable achievement to illustrate the multitude of ways players can outfox their opponents, and demonstrates the breath-taking scope and variety of the campaign map.

James Russell: Well, you know, we keep ourselves aware of what’s going on and what people want and we do our best to listen to the community. PC Gamer: How does modding and community support work alongside DLC, where a game grows in the direction you’re taking it in and the community independently does their own thing. What’s the appeal of supporting modders when you’ve got your own plan for the growth of the game? James Russell: Well the appeal of supporting modders is that it creates engagement, it supports engagement with the game and modders can increase the lifetime of the product by creating content that they want to play with each other. But I don’t think we feel threatened by that in terms of producing our own content, we’re confident about what we do and I think we make great DLC content. And there are things that we can do, because, we can change the code and so on, that the modders couldn’t do. Basically, not really yet. :-\

Lots of topics are rehashed in the interview, but tiny bit more info on the political system. More importantly though, new video to watch. Yay! New book for the game: "Destroy Carthage." Playing a frick-ton of Avatar Conquest on Shogun II to prepare for multiplayer. Forming an opinion on it to post soon. Add me on Steam (Anax) if you want to play with me, rank 4.5 and strictly practicing for future competitive endeavors. Speaking of which, if the clan system is similar to Shogun II, who'd be interested in making a TeamLiquid clan?

I assume that is what you were talking about) And there actually is a ASOIAF mod which is supposed to be really good for Crusader Kings 2. Considering that intrigue and diplomacy is a lot better modelled in that game when compared to TW and that that game is pretty much a Game of Thrones simulator in medieval europe anyways, it was kind of obvious that that mod would be made eventually.

Aw sorry your right. It had been a long time since I tried it, but I remember it much more clearly now, with the pause control and different speeds. I appreciate the game time for it's many faceted type of game play.
