I really hope they try to make CoH2 a good competitive game that can challenge some of SC2's dominance (it probably won't take up much of SC2's market but can at least force blizzard to make SC2 a better game). If they do things like remove most of the randomness, add in better spectator tools, add in an easy-to-use map editor, allow mirror MUs, and maybe diversify the factions a little more I think it can be a great competitive game (assuming they keep all the great stuff from CoH1). I really hope they don't do the DoW thing where they just add in a bunch of factions that can never be balanced. I want 3, maybe 4 factions top. In fact just 2 is good as long as they are different and balanced enough. Can't wait to see the game in action :D | ||

Of course you had to download all of them separately and they were HUGE so I just said fuck it and never patched the game at all, but that still seems like some good support... Every patch up until the more recent ones had its own broken playstyle or unit. The single most infamous example would be Aniketos' Piospam. I don't know what the balance is like nowadays, but I get the feeling that balance was achieved too late. | ||

Relic RTS' are computer run tabletop games. Warhammer is played competitively, and relies on die rolls. | ||

play him and see just how "random" the game is  i didn't think HuK was a dick in the CoH community... he was cool. i don't know where THQ is going to get the money to fund this project I guess we'll find out May 15th | ||
