Now there is a very good reason to be under 25 percent load. Also havel's ring and ring of favor and protection are more desirable, as is more points into endurance.

Edit: I'm kind of excited. That was a crutch for myself and so many others (I never abused it with an endurance ring or what not, but medium armor like Dark Armor I'm guilty). But last night I was playing around with character planner and it's exciting to plan around not having it. Edit^2: Thanks to poster below!

I can tell the difference between medium walk and run speed. But I bet if i took a test you could sneak medium rolls and I would call them light rolls from time to time. Ninja roll is still way way better than any of the others though. Its faster (less time rolling),yet longer invulnerable frames, goes farther too.

Or does it now ONLY give ninja roll, and you have to be below 25%, and has no effect on run speed anymore? Edit: I'm kind of excited. I could have sworn it still has fastest run speed under 50%, just no ninja roll, maybe the pc version got an update while I wasn't looking and changed it, because I know it did when it came out, I had used to dwgr to run places faster which it definitely used to do on pc. After testing it though, now it's just under 25% gives roll and no run speed bonus. I find that I generally aim for 50% load still on my characters so that I can actually have some poise, under 25% is hard to get any. I still use dwgr on certain characters, but on those I almost always have to use wolf ring to not get staggered by any attack.

(though I will miss playing PvE that way when I'm lazy) Havel's Ring @ 94 END can still get you a full havel ninja flip ![]()

Just because they can't ninja flip around doesn't mean they're no longer dangerous, if you're using some of the lighter weapons they can still just take a hit, poise-walk through your attack and backstab you.

I think "poise-walk" is my new favorite phrase haha. Just makes me picture full heavies lumbering up and taking hits from your fast weapon as they wind up and swing for the fences. Oh forest pvp...

Reading description of it as I have just bought it, and surprised I completely forgot they implemented this system. I found it kind of disappointing, there's no souls or any reward(just leaderboard). Basically it's a deathmatch style fight, couple of pretty generic levels/arenas, I think 3 minutes, most kills wins. No healing items allowed (except magic heals). Dying gives you spells back, but if you kill them you don't get health or spells back, you just wait until they drop down again, so if you kill them with like 10% hp left it sucks. It does let you chose 2v2 and 4 person ffa, which is hard to get with regular invading(1v2 is more fun anyway though), but the lack of any reward really, really sucks.
