I played on the 360 and have been using the Keyboard(Keyboard only) so far so good with it, did ornsteign and smough tonight using just the Keyboard. Not sure which I prefer Keyboard or Controller but I figured id try the Keyboard all day today. | ||

I never played it on console but I only lasted trying with kb & m for around 10 mins. Controller works 10x better. | ||

Also i lost 2500 souls once at him, i got back and tried to die where he wouldn't stand so I could get those 2500 ; which i did perfectly, when I got back to the bonfire; the very first skeleton managed to drive me above the bridge, making me fell and so dying without my 2500. Damn I was feeling miserable. Nonetheless, despite weird framerate issue this game is utterly amazing. | ||

Well, there's no need at all to beat that black knight, they are several levels above any enemies that early in the game. That said, their weakness is fire, take that as you will  As for the 2500 souls, it hurts... but trust me, it's nothing. Later in the game, you won't even care if you lost 30 000 souls... the thing you DON'T want to die for is not souls, it's humanity... At most, I had over 10 humanity and died and I seriously couldn't play the game for a whole day after that  Important to not make a big deal out of it, but farming humanity is a BITCH. | ||

I allready saw that there is a fix for the resolution and i have a gamepad, so FPS is my concern. Im normally very annoyed of something drops below 60. | ||

I personally never noticed it (console on computer monitor), but if you're sensitive to that stuff, yeah... it's 30 FPS, not much to do about that. | ||

suggestions for controls on ps2 controller? I dont see an option to change to some default controller setup and there seems to be many more commands than i have keys >_> ... and why is this even german. Where to change language? Steam said it was multilanguage, the only restriction being full audio only english. | ||

That tab isnt present thats why im asking. edit: i see how this might be a good game. But the control setup won't even accept controller inputs, there's no option to change to accept controller inputs, the base setup for my controller is completly off - camera directions being switched left-right to up-down, fight buttons all over the controller but nowhere easy to press, there's no language option and it's running bad on top of all that. I'm standing at the gate to the asylum demon (i guess i'll be fighting it now that i have a shield and weapon?) and just have no motivation at all to even try with controls like this. Debating if im going to use refund on this. | ||

How the fuck do you kill the first boss? I do like 0 damage to his fat ass in 3 hours. Has to be said I am certainly in the camp of 'hate' this game so far. I dont know how anyone can find dying this much enjoyable... | ||
