Hmmmmm /curious
If the legend could come back in all it's glory, I'd be VERY happy.

Damn you all! I just reinstalled Baldur's Gate 2 with half a dozen mods to change things around (this will be my 3rd run, 1st modded). Was planning to just install the Baldurs Gate Trilogy mod and play the whole thing as one, but it was bugging out so I'ma skip to BG2.

Can you link the web for that?

If you just want to play BG 1 and 2 as one game (both on the BG2 graphics, of course), just download the Baldur's Gate Trilogy mod and install it. Simple and easy: http://www.shsforums.net/index.php?automodule=downloads&showfile=54
If you want to add a few more mods, there's the big world project megamod, which bundles of a lot of mods. You have two options to install it: 1) Read the instructions for the big world project (http://www.shsforums.net/files/file/534-big-world-v11-english/), manually download the mods you want and use the big world project installer (http://www.shsforums.net/files/file/536-big-world-installpack-v11/) to pack it all in, or 2) Download the big world project setup (http://www.fileplanet.com/220713/220000/fileinfo/Baldur's-Gate---BiG-World-Project-Setup), which does downloads and unpacks everything automatically but is bugging out because it hasn't been updated in a while and a lot of download links for the mods have been changed.
Because I'm feeling adventurous (and lazy), I used the second option, but the Baldur's Gate Trilogy mod (which is included in the big world project) is bugging out because of some other mod. So I'll just start in BG2.

So i jumped the wagon of replaying bg after those years as well, for the first time as solo. Fighter/mage is such a fun to play, wrecks everything~ now only need to find reliable way on how to deal with those blasted mind flayers

Use Skelleton Warriors as shield, they do very good.

Exciting! Well, we'll know now in twenty-three and a half hours!

Damnit, the warning should come before the link, not the other way around!

Baldur's Gate 3, GotY 2015, calling it

So many people in this thread are going to be disappointed when it is a remake of BG and/or BG2 and not a full on sequel.
That said, I will still be very happy if they slap an HD art re-work on those games and fix up all the broken/missing quests that fan patches have done.
Then hopefully they can get on to the true best Infinity Engine RPG - Planescape: Torment. Remake that game in HD? Free money from me.

damn nice a countdown
much better than those blizzard countdowns that start a month in advance and end with some screenshots and wallpapers
|
COUNTDOWN?!?!?! Nerd tears are spilling! I hope they don't rape the legacy of BG

Are you kidding me?
I would pay market price for an HD remake of BG1 and BG2.

If a HD remix of BG1 and BG2 sold well, I'd say the chances of a real BG3 would skyrocket as well.
