Agreed. We loved him in Madison for so many more reasons than just his skill on the field. He's a pretty easy guy to root for.
Also, holy balls this Packers/Vikings game is so intense. I grew up in MN as a GB fan so I have so many friends talking smack right now. BluePanther is 100% right about the intensity/scope of this rivalry.

Somehow I feel I will be unable to change your mind, but judging an entire category of people based on the actions of a few, especially when you are only looking at the behavior of a few people in an emotionally charged atmosphere in which everyone is drinking heavily, is pretty foolish. For every Bear fan who fits your stereotypes I bet I can find at least one who doesn't. As with any prejudice against a group of people based on stereotypes, it's going to be wrong most of the time, but people will be heavily influenced by their confirmation bias and the prejudiced beliefs will persist.

I never said we were "more respectable". I just explained why I hate Vikings fans. I'll be the first to admit I won't hold the door open for some schmuck wearing a Favre Viking jersey. I'm not pretending to take the high road in this one, so don't misrepresent me as being hypocritical.
