Hey you see a chip shot fg is never guaranteed. Thank god that didn't happen last week against NE. Is English not your first language or something? Because you have the reading comprehension of an elementary school student. oh, also, suck it SF. new sheriff in town. This statement is hilariously inaccurate. We split the season series 1-1. And the 49ers still have the inside track on the NFC West, a win over Arizona next week and we win the division. So unless the 49ers manage to choke majorly, I'm talking Cubs level choke here, then we are still top dog in the West. Sorry to break it to you...
Doesn't change the fact the Seahawks have an overall advantage vs the 49ers, judging by their head-to-head anyway. Game in SF was a 1 score difference, and Seattle blew them out at home. Granted, that its almost impossible for the 49ers to lose the west, the Seahawks aren't afraid of anyone right now, as they shouldn't be.

Kaepernick didn't have a great game the other night, but he didn't allow the Seahawks to score 42 points. The SF offense isn't significantly better or worse with CK vs Smith, as the stats that semantics posted displays. There are plenty of games in which a team scores, and Alex Smith was unable to get the offense to respond with a score of their own, but the defense didn't let the other team hit a 30+ yard bomb down the middle of the field, and then go up 14-0 a few plays later. The Seahawks outplayed the Niners in every facet of the game, and that's all there was to that. Maybe if they didn't get into a deep hole early in the game, the Niners offense would have looked better, as they would have had the opportunity to be more balanced in their attack; but they got into that hole, and couldn't dig themselves out.
One thing I'm sure of: Alex Smith doesn't put the kind of beating on the Patriots that CK and co did the week prior. Another thing I'm sure of: SF's defense has looked like absolute shit since the third quarter of that same game that CK won for them. They've allowed 63 points in six quarters (I don't count the blocked FG against them). Is that CK's fault? Is that Harbaugh's fault? Not even a little bit. That's every player on that defense's fault for not being able to play without Justin Smith.

So the head coach plays no role in the performance of the defense who was on the field all game also because the offense couldn't chew up any clock or score any points? Nonono, I'll wait.

Valid point, "not even a little bit" is an overstatement.

How did Saturday, Cruz, and Patrick Peterson make the NFC pro bowl...
And how in the world did Richard Sherman not get in? Guy is arguably the best corner in the league right now.

I think its widely known already that the Pro Bowl is the biggest joke out of the four American sport all-star games. The voting process is an attest to that.

Mmm-hmm.
Well anyway, even players hate the pro bowl, the fans hate it, the media hates it... Also flies in the face of unnecessary vulnerability to more opportunities to get injured that Roger says he cares soooo much about.

Nevertheless, I was pretty shocked that only one defensive Seattle player got in. Meanwhile five chiefs were selected...

This is actually the worst pro bowl ballot I've ever seen.

Eh AP his fullback blair walsh and jared allen got into it I'm pretty happy. When AP and his fullback run together they have an 8.4 yards per carry average. Without the full back ap only gets 4ish YPC
Still going to be sad seeing them lose this sunday to the packers. I have a lot of confidence in them to win but just being a fan in Minnesota you learn that you will always have your heart broken when it counts.

Jeff Saturday was literally so bad that he got benched and he got voted in. I don't understand this world.

Wow, really? It's not THAT bad. There weren't a lot of snubs or anything this year, but I think the overall talent isn't quite what it usually is.
AFC QB's are so weak after Manning/Brady, imo. Schaub isn't having a Pro Bowl year, but for the AFC this year, it's pretty close to third best.
I know the Chiefs suck this year, but the guys that went are very good players. Charles is having a wonderful year, Tamba Hali is a great player (and is playing well this season), Derrick Johnson is deserving, and Eric Berry is one of the best Safeties in the league, even on a bad team.
The biggest AFC snub, imo, was Demaryius Thomas. I think he belongs over AJ or Wayne this season. Welker never puts up the numbers that these guys put up, but he's probably the best slot WR in the league.
AJ's stats 100 rec 1,457 yds 14.6 avg 97.1 ypg 4 TD Wayne's stats: 102 rec 1,315 yds 12.9 avg 87.7 ypg 5 TD DT's stats: 87 rec 1,312 yds 15.1 avg 87.5 ypg 9 TD
AJ has more catches and yards, but worse average, and five fewer TD's. Wayne's has more catches, and only 3 more yards; he's having a great season given that his QB isn't Peyton Manning any longer, but it's not a better year than DT's, imo. Admittedly, I am biased in this opinion.
The rest of the AFC roster is hard to pick at, discounting O linemen (because I don't really know enough about them to judge, nor do I really care). The only player I'm sure doesn't belong on a Pro Bowl line is Jeff Saturday, in the NFC.
Victor Cruz does not belong over names like these: Roddy White, Vincent Jackson, Marques Colston and Dez Bryant.
I probably would have put Richard Sherman in over Tim Jennings, given the time that he missed this season, but it's hard to argue with the NFC's DB selection, imo. The whole PED thing couldn't have helped late season votes, either. I was shocked to not see Briggs in the Pro Bowl this season, but I think the three that are going are hard to beat.
I really don't think either roster is that bad, but I think we're seeing a changing of guard here and that probably upsets some fans. Some of the old-timers we've come to expect to see are being replaced by the second and third year players that are on the rise.

So many players are in purely on name value that I don't even know where to begin, it'd take me two or three hours to shove together a list and make sure I didn't miss anyone to just point out how bad this is. And it's bad. I'm mean real bad.

Don't worry, espn already did it.

I will not dignify that link with a click as every one of espn's stupid bloggers are terrible.

Checked out a couple of the divisions, they were pretty spot on

The number of bad decisions Clarett made is astounding. To think that he avoided committing murder entirely by chance is a very scary thought. At least prison seems to have turned him around.
