Pretty good game. They're 1 game out of a playoff spot right now. I'm hoping they make it.

Good win for the Redskins. 13/21, 163 yards, 1 TD, 72 yards rushing, and 17 points is as close as you get to stopping their offense. TOP was pretty heavily in favor of the Giants, 33:13 to 26:47. I didn't get to watch the game very much, but statistically, it wasn't an incredible game for him. From the little I saw, it seemed like a pretty good defensive struggle, with the Skins offense just slightly edging the Giants offense. The Giants D was unable to stop Morris down the stretch though, and therein lies their demise. The Skins are built to be able to hold and sustain leads with a strong running game, and they did just that: they're a very complete offense. In any case, given the stats, and score, even without having seen the game, it still seems quite clear that the Giants D did its job and held RGIII down as well as can be expected. It's just that the Redskins D did their jobs a little bit better tonight.

I legit want the Skins to be a playoff team. They're both fun as hell to watch. Plus maybe I like seeing the Giants lose a bit.

Jim Harbaugh can act better than actual 'actors'.

Speaking of not getting help from the offense, take a look at this article that excoriates Greg Roman, the Niners' offensive coordinator. I think that this is the first that I've heard anyone criticize him, but some interesting points are raised. Here's a brief bit: I have a suspicion Jim Harbaugh will agree with what I'm about to write. I suspect Harbaugh believes Greg Roman is not good enough to be the 49ers' offensive coordinator. I sure don't think he's good enough. Harbaugh has stressed again and again, “This is Greg Roman's offense.” When I first heard that simple declarative statement, I thought, “Gee, Harbaugh is praising the underling. That's nice of Harbaugh to give someone else credit.” I've begun to embrace an alternate interpretation. Harbaugh is not praising Roman. He's assigning blame, assigning blame for four games in particular, games in which the 49ers scored, 13, 3, 13 and 13 points. Those are unacceptable totals in one-third of the games played to date. “This is Greg Roman's offense.” Such as it is. You can call this column “Greg Roman”s Football Sins.”

Look at this guy. He can't even say it was a mistake without being a huge dick about it. "it was coordinated by the gun lobby" " I only had 90 seconds to say what I thought". At least its something I guess. If hes enough of a liberal hack to not tell the difference between gangland gun culture and the rual gun culture he shouldn't say anything about it.

He doesn't understand why people might take offense to what he said. He also certainly does not think that what he said was wrong.

With a little bit of help from anyone else on the offense (o-line, receivers, running game, kicking game), there wouldn't even be a "controversy" right now, regardless of the fumble play or safety. Speaking of not getting help from the offense, take a look at this article that excoriates Greg Roman, the Niners' offensive coordinator. I think that this is the first that I've heard anyone criticize him, but some interesting points are raised. Here's a brief bit: Really you're saying if the entire scoring part of the 49ers were better kaep would be better, what an amazing insight. I find such comments lacking, kaep is surrounded with more talent on the offense a whole slue of expired players that Smith had to wait for the niners to draft and develop and acquire free agents for and now he needs more? I just get annoyed by niner fans who are willing to make excuses for keeping kaep in this season over alex smith touting that he is developing when the point was he's suppose to be better for the offense then smith, else why make the switch behind center and the offense's identity mid season when you have a chance at playoffs and were expected before the season to make it to the super bowl. Also this line right here i just die inside reading it da fuck this is fanboy talk regardless of the fumble play or safety. The safety is 100% on him no reason to get a safety when you're 17 yards out of your end zone, and he admits the fumble was his fault he chucked it one handed with his left hand 3 feet over ginn, yes ginn should have fell on it and yes the coaching staff shouldn't have ran such a risky play actions at that time but that choice and execution was all him. It was a play action and he made the right read but his execution was pure crap, it's clear he's testing his limitations which is a high risk to an offense that made it's way to nfc champ game and lost in large part due to 2 bad returns. All of which was done with a team who had less talent on offense then they do now, you want to talk lack of talent talk about the crappy WR depth the niners had last year. And did you see last game his play action was sit that whole game it was completely obvious when he was going to keep the ball he didn't even attempt to hide it in the RB's hand, same deal with the o-line and the whole running game I didn't see him make many pre snap adjustments and reading the blitz, something smith is one of the best in the league against the blitz. Then to pile on it in the 2nd half after he lost protection a few times he left the pocket very early and held on to the ball too long as he tried to readjust to find a throw mid stride. It's was very clear that kaep lacked experience in reading a defense, so again mid season change who is suppose to be better then smith is right now. I do say keep kaep in for miami just because switching now is probably a worse call, if he loses miami pull him till off season and make the switch and changes to how the offense operates in the off season. Greg Roman's offense scheme is fine for what the niner offense had been operating, low risk moving the chains offense leaning on a strong run game to compliment the play action game. It's clear hardbaugh wants to move to the guy he drafted and he took the opportunity to put him in the game and test the waters when smith was out of commission in order to see what he gets during the off season before training camp, in order to cut smith before he effects the team's cap.
