I still think alex is the niners man, he lead them to nfc championship and they didn't lose that game because of him. Luckily it's against the saints and the main thing alex does calling audibles correctly to change a play action into a run or throw play allowing for his high completion and yards per throw rates, i just think our running game will suffer and kaep wont be throwing anymore then alex he just wont be making the same reads.

The Texans have 1 probowl caliber player at every level of defense: Watt on the Line, Cushing with the Linebackers, Jospeh with the Corners, and Manning with the safeties. They're missing the Cushing and Joseph and it's showing. Watt's still a beast tho.

Definitely, the thing about a player like Watt is that although his tenacity can sometimes come up big, it doesn't always translate into an overall stronger defense the way a Safety or Inside Linebacker can.

No no, Watt is by far the most impactful player on the Texans team. The guy has literally destroyed more passing plays than anyone in the league with pressures, sacks, and deflections. He's absurd. That said, you can't do much about quick outs as a DT.

Because firstly, the NFL will probably change the rule after the season, and secondly, until the Lions prove they can play defense in the fourth quarter, they aren't good enough to blame refs. But everyone here is gonna bitch about it anyway. Edit: 97 yard drive in the fourth, 4-5 long 3rd down conversions (don't remember) and a 4th down conversion, this is why the Lions are still a fucking joke. Did Phil Simms just say that Jim Schwartz threw the "challenge fag?" + Show Spoiler + CAN PETTIGREW HOLD ON TO THE MOTHERFUCKING BALL FOR ONE FUCKING PLAY
