One thing I'm doing in my current attempts to improve is learning how to play spots on maps. Often I end up as the solo/anchor player holding a site on CT side so it's important for me to learn what to do given different situations and to have a plan for many different iterations of T side attacks. I'm enjoying it, really. | ||

In DM it's pretty much the same result. When I play with an ak I almost always have a good KD but with the A1 I barely get over a KD of 1... | ||

Hell, I'd rather go with a FAMAS then the A1. It has higher RPM, kills in the same amount of hits, costs less and has more bullets. | ||

Well its kinda good for me that I started not too long ago, because I was able to switch and feel quite comfortable with the A4. A1 was fine at MGE/DMG but playing LE/LEM's now I felt like i was lacking a bit in close range battles, you know when you get caught offguard etc. Someone mentioned its a bit of a tapping weapon. I kinda agree. I would switch to the A1 depending on maps or positions that Im playing but over all the A4's is way more flexible now. The recoil is pretty ok. I have no problems with spray downs as long as the aim is true. | ||

You should try to practice your rifling just as much. Honestly, you get better automatically with the Awp if you are generally good at aiming. What I am saying is not to skip Awping all together but please be careful you don't neglect your AK/M4. So many of my friends are so fucking bad because Awp is the only thing they can use. Their crosshair placement, movement and positioning are so thoughtless, it's incredible that they are the rank they are. edit* I didn't even touch the fact that if your team is losing, it's hard to afford an Awp in the first place. | ||
