I feel like that gun is literally programmed to not be this consistent thats the trick, you need to treat the CZ with care and respect and it will perform for you Yeah, if you don't believe that the first bullet will drop in the middle, it won't. She's a bitch but you can tame her. CZ is love, CZ is life.

Sure, you'll get your hackers and your smurfs/trolls but in the long run, your MM rank is quite indicative of your skill. Biggest problem I see while playing MM whether it be solo queue or in a stack is that one's mentality greatly affects how people play and that csgo is just a mental/attitude game just as it is a mechanical game. For example, what I have noticed is that players who are bad players are the ones who will call out hacks and blame other people for mistakes/problems that they haved. I used to have this same issue where I wouldn't realize why what I did was bad and why it was punishable and thus I would call hacks. These are the people that will never quite improve their rank and thus will never get out of whatever they consider to be "elo hell" or "rank hell" (I'm seeing this in Badge land right now cause badge is when people start to play those who actually have a good understanding of the game and will hit a plateau). Once people start to realize that what they are doing is bad and start to improve it, thats when they start to see progress in their game/progress in their skill. Sure, it will take awhile, but if they practice and see where they make mistakes, they'll improve. BUT, the most important thing is that they learn to be humble and admit their mistakes. I'll use myself as an example. I'm learning every day I play, and I suck badly (ask Nagi about the teamkill I mad today on mirage ). But I only get mad at myself for my mistakes, not at other's mistakes because I can only improve myself and see why I failed; I used to get mad at everyone on my team for failures, whether i was affected or not. It's why I'm only a badge, since I have a long way to go and I'm just getting started. Long story short, MM ranks are a good indicator of skill ( barring smurfs and hacks), and there's always room to improve, at every rank and in every game. GL HF, MM2 I got flamed so hard yesterday, for bottomfragging almost the whole game. Although i made some pretty important plays, clutched some rounds. Then i tied the game on my own by clutching the last 2 rounds 1v3 and 1v4. Finished 19-23. Didn't matter to my mates. They still kept on hating me. I loled. XD Some people are just like: "Hey, i lost 10 games in a row now. But fuck it, i'm pro anyways, because i always top frag." Kills are so overrated by a lot of players.
|
In a game with random teams (e.g. soloq) the only thing you can focus on is your own play. Top fragging is the result of good play regardless. Winning is not, since it involves many outside factors.
That doesnt excuse you getting flamed and them being dickheads though ofc. Thats what drags them down and makes them lose games, a shitty raging attitude and a god complex.

GL HF, MM2
Well, then I guess I really belong into gold nova 2, rather then my lost double AK :D
+ Show Spoiler +
From my new experience, I would say it greatly depends on who you play with. It was really fun feeling how much communication matters, and I definitly played against some lower ranked novas that easylie should be AK. Maybe in the higher ranks your statement is accurate, but at the lower levels it doesnt feel like it.(Higher ranks would be anything above the sherifbadge for me, since I never managed to stay on sherifbadge for more than a week)

The ranking system is entirely accurate. Its the same system used for countless other games (video or not) and they're all accurate too. If you play enough you will level out at your accurate rank, its how it works.
Your links are broken btw, but it doesnt matter, they're just games with you top-fragging and having shitty teammates / leavers i guess.
A legit double AK / badge player wouldn't be caught dead near Nova 2. That rank was inflated for any number of reasons i am 100% sure of this because after playing more you've dropped back down to Nova 2 (which could also be deflated) If i had to guess i would say you were probably somewhere around the middle (GN4/MG1) and more play will cause you to plateau there.

Nonsense. You act like Novas cant aim, what just supports my statement that there is extreme difference in skill at the lower levels. Since cs focusses on teamwork, I believe that even a silver stack that coordinates can kill you. What differes the rankes the most is teamwork and game awareness in my opinion, sure aim, reflexes and spraycontrol are important but they dont matter that much, if you dont get any info from your team that one ran into lower dark while you are upper, harrasing b, or when it is 1v3 and you have to predict where your enemys are. Finally, there is the autosniper which is very easy to use (even though I think the AWP is much better in most situations). 2 Autosnipers at the right spot can do wonders, especially when your team rans into them 1 by 1, or you clear B and they somewhat manage to die all on A without killing anyone and losing the bomb (even though you sit in TS and tell them that B is clear and they shouldnt go A). Just play with a team full of people that cant communicate and have almost no map awareness and you suddenly reallise, that the external skill (the skill provided by your team) is highly important and greatly affects your playstyle. It felt almost like playing with no sound.
And links are fixed.
EDIT: Also, the scores are from games that I saved because my mates did something good etc. and I wanted to show it to them to tell them where they did great and what they did to improve, therefore its just a small selection. Even though, all my games that day went like that - even when we lost, I always where topfragging/had the most points (including the enemy team). When I belong to Gold Nova/AK1 , why do I wreck them so hard then? I dont care for my rank, but I definitly think that in a game like CS, you should never just look at the wins/losses/draws, because it could be your team that dragged you down. I feel a lot of the hate and flames that seem to even be worse in GO that it was in 1.6 come from that. If people knew that even though their team was doing bad, they wont necessarily risk their rank, they might be more relaxed and friendly.

Maybe it's just me, but I love the rather trollish/hostile community when I play. I am almost always on the receiving end somehow, either by a stupid clutch mistake about 4-5 rounds in, being called a noob and what not, and later I am a cheater who hits headshots too much lol. I never flame anyone, but I just laugh with them, knowing that we've all been there. I think it would be horrible if this game turned into "say one bad word, and you get a 3 day ban". People need to vent, they do that in other sports I've been involved in as well. I think it's better to accept their period of frustration. It can't hurt you either, only reinforce what you already think about yourself, exposing these lies rather them having them burried.
PS: I am thinking of buying a king monitor for cs go. Maybe not untill April next year (going 10 weeks vacation soon yay!). Seen Asus/BenQ and Eizo being mentioned, but does it matter if it's 24 or 27"? I need something real smooth, and don't care much about costs, but still not willing to put in 2000 dollars, around 1000 is max.

The ultimate monitor imho would be this one, depending on your other PC specs. 1440p should be doable in CS:GO with a regular machine but in other games your normal run of the mill machine will have difficulties. This one is 27 inches.
Another good one which "only" can do FullHD and is ~24 would be either this, or if you like Eizo and a non TN panel, that one.
Going bigger than 24 would be too much for CS, I think that's the sweet spot, but opinions right?
I chose Newegg because I got no idea what a popular hardware shop is for Norwegians.

Its no worries, LDLC are just saving strats! (but seriously, they look lost against pronax and friends)
And what do you know? LDLC are borrowing the Virtus Plow tactics!

Those were some disgusting rounds by LDLC.
Edit: Everyone in this game is incredible. What great CS to watch.
