when the awp was shown in play, it felt really chunky to use and not smooth as in 1.6 and source. I don't know if that is how they have it in cod or whatever, but if you want to add 1.6 elements, get the awp back its original feel. The molotav. WTF is it doing in CS:GO? throwing molotavs over the bomb plant would be so annoying and hard to combat even for the pros to enter molotaved areas. I would expect it to be banned in competitions. The addition of the new weapons gives a vibe that value wanted to let everyone on a team have a fighting chance during econ rounds rather then the classical use deagle and hope for the best. This is too leninent towards the losing teams as they dont have a 3 round disadvantage from losing the pistol rounds. TL;DR This game sucks, brb CS 1.6 | ||

I've said it from the start: The thing with 1.6 and the versions below it, has been the awesome feeling of the game. The control and recoil feels so smooth but it's hard to master, the graphics has always been clean and the maps is just maps and nothing else. What I hate most about CSS apart from the god awful graphics and control/recoil is how the maps is packed with useless shit. Like burned cars, flying cans and paper all over the place. And thats exactly what was going on in the videos of CS:GO. | ||

here is the video. it just looks like a cheap COD replica rather than being a new improved counter strike. i guess they are targetting the new generation fps players in the market. guess we will stick with 1.6 for a long while. | ||

I'm hoping the Molotov isn't as stupidly good as it looks, and that the recoil is adjusted. Especially while running. Other than that, good preview. I'm also liking the map adjustments that kept them out of competitive play. | ||

It's funny how De_Dust2 became from a Egyptian-ish environment (1.6) to a favela(CS:GO). In general, the maps are really different (in a bad way). <_< Can't say anything about the gameplay with this trailer, but it doesn't look like anything new or amazing. :b | ||
