Thing is, masters don't let you add more mods than 6. If an item has 6 mods, you can't master-craft anything. Anyway, leveling masters still is a really good idea and if you want to speed it up, you can join master rotations with other people when you got your dailys available. Join /global 820 for that. | ||

Most importantly, lvl 8 masters occasionally sell random uniques for a couple chaos-- this can include stuff like Shav's, though that's obviously very rare. Also you don't have to do super fancy mastercrafting-- you can do stuff like add some HP or resist to a piece of armor to make it almost-good to usable. If you have a item with a couple good mods but you can't afford to do fancy crafting you can slap on a mastercraft to make it good as well. A lot of "standard" mods are pretty cheap. | ||

i did spend a total of 6 exalts on that wand though because i screwed up the first time round. it had the flat phys and phys% (2 prefixes) from my alterations. I regaled a 25% cold damage (suffix) onto it. What I failed to do was proper research before proceeding to craft. I immediate crafted multimod (this is a suffix! i thought it was a prefix) and put attack speed (suffix) on, and quickly realized that i was out of space for crit (suffix). ended up crafting it subpar with WED(prefix) as the last slot. so that was the 2 exalt mistake. lol had to wait to get haku to level 8. removed crafted mods, added prefixes cannot be changed from haku (2ex) and recrafted everything on (2ex). Still worth it though.  remember, rare items can have a total of 6 mods. 3 prefix and 3 suffix, 7 if it has an implicit mod. again, remember to check which mods are what kind of affix, don't make the same silly mistake i did  | ||

But as I allways go selffound on every Char I don't really care if trade is active or not. The bad side of my playstyle is that i never got above Level 84 yet, as I struggle in End game due to mediocre gear. :D The good side is: I never run out of new build Ideas as I allmost allways drop at least one Item to build arround on my next Char. I don't like playing the same kind of Char multiple times again and again. I say: Try out this kind of playstyle if you are bored of trading. It's a lot more challenging though. Leveling with a new skill from scratch can be tideous and a lot more time consuming but you really learn a lot about different skills and how to make them work. Will probably never get bored of leveling in POE that way. | ||

died with a Lvl 2 Empower, Lvl 2 Enlighten, and Lvl 1 Empower on secondary should have just level grinded since the character wasn't tanky or wasn't safe against anything that could close gaps oh well time to Vaal the gems in Standard for shits & giggles | ||

Even at level 73 it crushed my level 90, max res (except chaos), 5144 health, 400 regen, 65% damage reduction (90 with endurance charges) Marauder like nothing. I thought to myself, "No way, I can take that." Respawn and go to kill it. Get killed again, even faster this time. That thing is no joke. | ||
