You probably use volls for armor though right? I'm not sure I want to go down that path, crit discharge isn't what I am looking for right now.
I was considering getting blood dance and trying that way, might be easier than using volls, lot's of choices.

I run a lot in parties (and MFer) that's why I try to not use "on kill" mechanics. And I choose to use Crit because Crit is way easier to scale on Discharge than Chance to Ignite. The only real drawback from Voll's for discharger is the 50% reduced Mana which I counter by going Eldritch.
And keep in mind I am using Avatar of Fire.

yeah, me too. my standard dealy is 48ms to the european server. sometimes i get 60 - 80ms (in the last week). Something is just not right cause in the game it feels like i have 1-2s delay and its just not smooth. i dont party, so imo it is the servers

Also, would it be a better Investment to buy a belly of beast and a lightning cool or just get a cloak of defiance? 5L of course

Yeah hm when is everyone in Torment playing btw ? Could get tgt and do stuff sometimes ( like unique maps that I don't wanna run solo )
Also anyone doing a culler ? If not I guess I'll have to wind up doing one again =/.
No investors with race reward Andvarius and such this time around though, so it's gonna take awhile to farm up ( a hell of a long while because I'm super lazy recently )

got a Bringer of Rain to drop in Bloodlines
been playing a Arc / Flameblast character that I've been enjoying in BL and is probably the strongest HC character I've played in PoE so far
played a Double Strike character during Nemesis that didn't have access to BoR or Soul Taker
should I build a melee character around BoR? if so, what? think the highest level map my DS character did was Lvl 69 maps and it faired ok although no where near as effective as my Arc / FB character is right now
I solo everything if that matters

I'm on break from school (only for a week more though) so I'm on (and off) like 4- 10 pm EST. I've got a couple unique maps that I want to do with other people as well.
I'll probably do some sort of culler after I finish up one or two more characters, though I suppose that doesn't really help lol.

If map clearspeed is what you search for and you are not rich as hell, then you won't find a faster clearing build than Arc or Flameblast I guess. Especially no melee build.

Well, melee is going to be a bit expensive but can be done I guess. A good weapon isn't as expensive as it was back in nemesis, neither is soul taker or aegis. Ele melee builds are quite cheap though.

After a fatal encounter with turbo temple piety, my 82 shockwave totem witch sadly went poof. I dropped a CoD gem the map before, should have known lol. Bloodlines is going to have to be over for me at this point, but I have to say that the new magic mob mods are a really nice addition to the game, and after being added to the core game will add some healthy mob randomness (hopefully lacking phylactery).

Start again today, going to try the avatar of fire discharge on torment (new SC league iirc). Anyone want to brodeal me some gems like CoDT/spell echo/concentrated effect?
(I guess i should find out what links I should run, I am guessing Discharge-conc-increased aoe-crit damage? With CWDT-spell-echo-enduring cry to generate the endurance charges)

This is what my AoF Discharger was running. The gems in Body armour are sorted from top to bottom after priority.
Keep in mind that Discharge, Crit Dmg and Conc Effect with quality are all pretty neat for this build. The earlier you can get ur hands on high quality ones and start leveling them, the better!

Unfortunately, Spell Echo doesn't work with trigger gems. If you're going discharge you might as well just self-cast the enduring cry with Echo.
