They are getting nerfed for a reason. its only super strong with CoE. have u actually tried an aura build without using that, its not OP in that way.anger/wrath on an alpha howl with >2 aps weapon (mathil) is endgame strong but is nowhere near the OP-ness of lowlife coe/shav (flubby), which also uses the same principle except with the insane dmg modifiers CoE brings along. your line of reasoning is also along the same idiots who just simply says arc/DD/flameblast is too strong and needs nerfed. guess what, all the hardcore players use those because all the other skills are mediocre. have u seen a hardcore player worth his salt lvl50 leveling with ice nova yet? no. well u can, good luck taking ages killing a simple rare. (inb4 someone says ice nova is actually useful, hahaha, other than its area anything ice nova can do, other spells can do better)

You can reach like 25k+ DPS with Wrath/Anger having absolute shit gear as an Ele Wander. You can easily hit like 15k Char DPS using RT with Spectral Throw with Wrath/Anger (which means it's doing a shitload more damage then 15k). Please, this whole nonsense that Wrath/Anger aren't broken is hilarious.

You can hit 15k DPS ST with no CoE, no Shavs, no LL, etc. with absolute shit gear. All you need is an okish Ele Damage Rapier with 2.00 ASPD and some Ele Dmg/Weapon Ele Rolls.
I can hit 25k+ DPS with an Ele Wander with my eyes closed with self-found absolute garbage gear because of Wrath/Anger. There are people that hit like 15k+ DPS with Chain with nothing more than a Vigil (which is a good wand, but still not a top-tier rare ele dmg wand).
And hitting 15k DPS with a physical character is not easy. Unless you have a really good 1H weapon, you're not reaching it. 2H builds struggle to break 20k DPS, especially RT characters. Willywonka with a Marohi had like what, maybe 16k DPS? That was with the BIS Ground Slam mace. You might break 20-25k, but do realize that we're talking about a 2H char that is still around equal levels of damage with an essentially ranged character carrying a fucking shield.

new stun avoidance while casting wheel between starting witch clusters is actually REALLY big
i think it might actually do something to lessen the necessity of dream fragments although you're still vulnerable to getting stunlocked and simply dying that way

the inc buff effect from Holy Strength got moved to Athleticism, Holy Strength is gone, Purity of Flesh has been moved southwest.
there's more staff crit in templar section, less simple phys. Looks like staff crit builds may be go.

So I've got what looks like a pretty nice crit staff build working. 272.6% increased physical damage, 10% attack speed (I could work on this...), 17% increased block with staves, 400% crit chance (i think...), and 75% increased crit multi (not great) plus 139% life and 1% max fire res. All this on 79 points. I think I could do with a fair bit more accuracy and want a lot more crit multi but for the life of me I can't find any more.
edit:
okay 95 point build has more accuracy and 162% life. I'm pretty happy with everything but the lack of crit multi but I think I'll have to live with it.
also I'm super near Vaal Pact if I want to go for it.

Edit : What in the hell, 20% chance to shock too? On top of the defensive buffs the Witch Tree got? The only thing holding the Witch back is her fucking garbage leveling gems at this point. This tree is absolutely insane.
Bow characters got massive buffs across the board.
2nd Edit : Path of CI confirmed. Life will stay relatively the same for the most part if you're breaking 150% increased life, but CI characters can now get 200% ES ez pz with their eyes closed and still have 60 points to jack around with.

holy shit that skill tree is amazing for witch. haven't looked at others yet (on it), but CI Witch looks really powerful now. perhaps Freezing Pulse is gonna be good again, I've tried to make a build and you can get a lot of damage and crit.

That's because with the changes to ES you can reach 200% ES now with like 15 less points than before which is a huge deal.

I have now tried to make a summoner build. The CI version is a bit better than before imo (although summoner might get hit hard by Aura nerfs), while I can't seem to make a good Life version to happen. With similar nodes it would only have low 100%ish Life.
Also it's damn hard to get 150% life if you are starting as Shadow. But maybe 120% is enough?

Mors' skill calc, yeah. Anyway, unless 150% Life equals 250% pre patch, I don't see how CI can be worse than Life. Unless they harshly nerfed the values of ES chests. I mean, now it's massively more easy to craft 500+ ES chests as well.
It's horribly easy to get 200% ES (not counting from INT) in that new tree.
