Aside from the mana thing which is too extreme (hotfixed recently), I think people are overeacting. The game really isn't that different to how it was the last two leagues. Now if you were already annoyed with the game then that's an issue There have always been massive nerf patches. I don't think this nerf hammer is as big as the double dip destruction, or the vaal skill nerf (this one in particular was the big one). a lot of people thought the game should and would die after vaal spark was gutted, yet things continued. Anyone remember bakedchicken? I think the game has a lot of problems, but it hasn't jumped the shark yet IMHO | ||

Expedition monsters are really not bad at all if you don't make them stronger. I assume the ones you mention have some innate block chance and maybe ward as well. Reading is crucial in this league though. If you aren't playing a high dps build, taking 50% block chance and 30% dodge as well as the regeneration thing (in logbooks you can multple of these) basically guarantees you won't finish the Expedition, even with no immunities. I'm currently playing a ~20ex version of Quin's Boneshatter build and it's extremely strong against anything that isn't anti melee & elemental damage (I don't like Sirus P3 and Veritania at all), but a single Expedition mod which ignores my Physical Resistances will be my death pretty easily. Yesterday's Baeclast with Chris Wilson was pretty good. A smaller atlas with 100 maps and 16 Watchstones should make the mapping experience less tiring, which is great. Of course something different in the end game, which is coming in 3.17, will be needed as well to make the game more fun again too. As for the coming Hardmode/Masochist mode, Chris made it sound pretty fun to me. If playing myself won't be fun, I'm certain watching the HCSSF streamers play it will be tons of fun. | ||

I am a bit in doubt about how expedition work. So the remnants buffs takes place 1) all after detonate 2) after each explosion only effecting new spawned mobs 3) after each explosion effecting both new and already spawned mobs. Also does the reward follow same pattern | ||

Like, I'm not 100% certain that you don't get the full boni right away, it's not easy to test I guess. Although just from my last logbook, I don't think so. I didn't clear it very fast and only like the last 1/3 of the map the monsters were dropping maps. | ||

I started Heist a month late after a break and it was fine. But I had no goals so everything I achieved felt good. Trade in Expedition is kind of scuffed. Not as many people and some things are scarce (lvl1 Enlighten is 1.5 ex atm. for example....). | ||

The demand of Enlighten lvl 1 gems is SO much higher than last league. Last league, Enlighten/Empower/Enhance were able to drop at lvl 2 and even 3. This league however people have to level it all the way from 1 to 3. And I bet a lot of people are trying to make bank leveling 6+ Enlightens for a chance of hitting a level 4 gem or just selling at 3. I can't complain about trade being hard yet, maybe some of the tough to find GG rare items aren't available or more expensive though. | ||
