Excellent league launch, no problems at all. Act 1 was a blast, and since I have most of the CDR the Seismic Trap is actually fucking good so far. Leveled with Explosive Trap before which was just melting everything pretty well.

I feel the flask regen is not the worst problem, the the nerf to the defensive flasks in general really hurts me so far. 15% phys reduction from Basalt, no real curse/poison/bleed removal while two of these things got buffed from the monster side.

only played up to A3 but I also am really liking the A1 changes. Hope they stick to their guns and make the game more like that.

Hope that in next patch make some boss's fight faster. Was hoping the act 2 was fixed but takes forever to begin. Would be a quality of life improvement, the worst is Brine. Really hope they make the more fun to meet.

The flask changes that are coming up are pretty significant. Arctic Armour giving freeze immunity should make me use it, that's sick as Saboteur.

Ok i thought that impale build was hit very hard to this patch, as the support gems is some of the most nerfed one especially impale support. Hope it works out.

Glad to hear it works fine now. This league has been really smooth so far in terms of performance. Only a handful of random disconnects/lags which always happen, no texture streaming issues.

Gameplay-wise I'm enjoying Cobra Lash a lot. I just reached maps yesterday, doing a handful of white ones on a 4L with Bino's. I don't feel the flask or mana changes yet, I think it's too early for that. On this matter I also think GGG reacted a bit to swiftly... Like, it has been a couple days. Most people didn't even have the time to fully experience the changes, let alone adapt to them and/or find work arounds. For a game that gives you a lot of tools and wants you to plan your builds, the loud people on reddit seem incredibly impatient and lazy. "Oh it feels a little harder/bad - must be terrible, no way to work around it"...

Game is in a weird place for me.
As a standard player (PoE is not my main game, and my gaming time is limited), the game has slowed down significantly but the challenge is the same:

I still die to 1 shot big AoE hits from bosses, so I still have to avoid those first, but now the fight takes longer so the odds of me getting killed are increased.

Because im at level 97, I either farm low tier maps till I level up or I yolo it as fast as I can to get currency over xp.

I never got to have a totally OP char since I never managed to keep my currency that long after one of my chars gets nerfed and I no longer can play it. (need to reinvest in it or make a new one).

I dont know how I feel about GGG slowing the game down. If they pull it off, it might be great, but Lag and Ping will always be there to some extent so...

Well, lets see.

they really need to make the game more newbie friendly - the campaign should be used as a long tutorial for that, and leave the endgame content as is.

Copy D3. Once you have finished the campaign once you have an alternative way to level.

It seems to have been a very bad business decision as well... Numbers are dropping rapidly compared to any previous league in addition to less people starting in the first place. At this rate PoE will die a slow death unless PoE2 can properly have new players start.

People keep bringing this up, Chris fully anticipated that. Just check what he said in advance. What they did (and there is more to come of course) was healthy for the game in the long run, they don't mind losing players that won't stomach the changes coming in the future.

My guess is that players - including me - enjoy watching the player numbers as it provides a perspective that makes "us" more powerful. Add the fast changes to flasks, "we" were heard it seems.
But we have no clue if it does anything to revenue and realistically: ARPGs are popular and if they lose some players now they'll gain other players (after D4 or D2R disappoint for example).

Haven't made it past act2. It's kinda what I wanted to do before leaguestart - exit early to make myself visible in the player decline - but it's got nothing to do with it. The thought about playing is attractive, the little experience with the league feature was just incredibly underwhelming.
