My only gripe is the Sirius fight. It's just sooo bad. Elder/Shaper/Maeven... All is great... But Sirius ist just such a horrible piece of shit
Is it? I did it for the first time last league (A1) and thought it was well done.
The Sirius fight is hated because the transitions are super long/awful. It also has a cascading problem where it creates another chaos storm every portal you use so if you die because you don't know what you're doing it gets worse real fast.
I had the feeling that those storms disappeared after a while? When I fought him, I lost 1 portal due to a disconnect and died 4 times, so I killed him on my last portal. When I reentered, I always had the same path to him and the arena seemed about the same. The phase changes take a bit long though, I agree. Time to calm down though, so there is an upside to that as well.
I have to stand and wait to even walk to the start of the fight is not good design.
Yeah it wouldn't hurt if you would at least start at the enntrance of the area, having to run the whole thing sucks. It's only a SC problem but still...

Nah, most people use logout scripts in hc, so they have the same problem..

Wait, are you mapping? Because if you do you should find one every now and then. My problem has been to find the correct last one because I was always getting those I had already. I got to 6/6 yesterday though. Probably going to do uber lab today.
Yep I'm level 86 and didn't farm for tabula or anything just all maps with a few heist in early 70s to check it out cause I skipped that league.
Just hit my final uber lab trial at L92 in SSF (from a T16 Zana mission where I picked the lab trial mission over a Harvest mission and a unique map I needed - always a bad feeling when you make this choice and get your eight Burning Rage, heh) and slowly making engame progression ~20 watchstones in. Ritual's been a great no-fuss league mechanic and enjoying the Atlas customisation though regretting a few early choices (and feeling like I can't use master missions until I have at least four relevant points for them in a region). Anyone figured out what sulphite-hoarding monsters are, or what the rogue exile rewards are?
Enjoying Heist when it hasn't been the main focus, and already had more unique contracts drop this league than in the actual league, ha. Haven't quite got a good Harvest flow going in SSF; feel like I waste a lot of time/crafts (and haven't figured out the Rubik's cube order of socket colour crafts), but it's been low-key rewarding even just for uncompleted maps/GCPs/swapping catalysts and essences.
Feel like I've got some terrible pathing but hard to cross the tree for both Runebinder and Wind Dancer, heh.
Holy shit, Raider Wintertide Brand? That's a wicked idea. Lots of travelling indeed. Not sure if you can make anything better if you want Runebinder and Wind Dancer. Maybe slightly but not a lot I guess.

That looks surprisingly similar to what I played around with preleague when I thought about Raider/Pathfinder for Wintertide Brand. I didn't send too much time but I tried a few thing, going through the middle etc. and haven't found a sweet route. It's likely going to remain a stretch.
Is there any sort of SSF crafting for dummies guide? Right now I'm just picking up high level bases and alching them. I feel like there is some fossil or essence usage I can do even if it isn't the super harvest/fossil shenanigans.
I am thinking about doing a phisical damage taken as fire spec. If I have 100% can I just ignore armor items. Also how does armor penetration work against over capped resistance?

I would be interested in that as well. All I was able to find so far was either super duper endgame crafts, highly specific and expensive or rather vague videos with some tips covering a handful of examples.
Here is an example of the latter, which I found nice but a bit too vague: But maybe that's because I don't know how to use poeninja to good effect...

Do you mean what armor pen from monsters does if you have 100% phys taken as fire (ist that even possible)? I would assume it gets ignored and fire/elemental pen is applied instead.

The avatar of fire gives 50%. Chieftain and other stuff can make it 100%, but not sure if the chest is worth taking as it pretty bad besides 20% of phys as fire. Just read some mobs and bosses have elemental penetration. So wondering if I over cap my max fire resistance what the effect would be. So if I actually have 85% anyway or will have the penetration effect so 60% if 25% fire penetration.

Avatar of Fire makes the damage you deal do fire, it doesn't affect the damage you take.

Thanks i am an idiot. Can only get about 60% then but then lack armor so properly only 40%. For it to be useful.
To the discussion about the Sirus spawns: I got them when I socketed my 8th watchstone. It could be that or the initiation of acquiring watchstone number 17, which started at the same time. They are annoying af.
I got a rare Maven's Invitation from Lira Arthain. Which is weird, because I haven't killed the 10 bosses in that region yet (only witnessed 5/10 so far). How does that work?

You're guaranteed a drop on your first 10th if you haven't gotten one yet. The 10 boss isn't a quest item like the others and you can get more of them.

Yeah, but I mean I haven't filled the 10 boss bar yet. I just got it as a random drop. I have no idea what bosses are supposed to be in there, either. I guess I have to go in blind and see.
Im having a lot of fun playing SSF, running a DD Inquisitor right now. I've never really had to craft my own gear aside from a Vortex Occultist for which it was mainly Delve for dense and frigid fossils, so I'm a bit at a loss: What would be the recommended way for crafting a sceptre having Inc fire%, cast speed and Crit multi with an open suffix to bench craft trigger socketed spells on it? Alt-Regal? Or is there some Harvest magic one can attempt? Since I havent played Harvest, I really dont have any intuition as to how one would go about that.
Hi guys, could you recommend me a build that can comfortably kill uber elder? I think I can gather about 10-15 exalts worth of budget plus I already have a couple of six links, including a crusader explosion chest.
