The other day I started doing some Grand Heists as I had only done the story missions so far. I ran out of coins very quickly and I don't really feel like grinding contracts atm. Will see... Although I feel like I get more coins and stashes in maps than I did during Heist league... Also still looking for my last Labyrinth Trial... Even worse than last season and I already look for Zana missions and Prophecies to get more trials. I hit 91... Good thing I don't really need the points but I would get 20 % more damage, which would definitely help in red maps, as my gear still sucks and I kind of want to save my currency for my next chars... | ||

Perhaps a weighted change that is more likely, but not guaranteed, to spawn a trial you haven't had yet? in the same way that maps are weighted to give uncompleted ones. | ||

My only gripe is the Sirius fight. It's just sooo bad. Elder/Shaper/Maeven... All is great... But Sirius ist just such a horrible piece of shit | ||

1) I was probably at least partially too proud to admit it, but HC feels like shit to me nowadays. Being reasonable quick into red maps and getting oneshot by the first Sirus rare just to read "btw we reduced their damage now lol" on a Monday patchnote feels crap in HC, in SC that's more of a "lol, whatever". 2) Between Maven encounters and the new Atlas skill trees there's just fun stuff to do and we can target it. Wanna grind Harvest? Legion? Temples? Betrayal? Blight? Pick a region and go. It's like legacy league but properly done for core. Map drops are high enough to do whichever region you want, Maven gives you a reason to run different maps for her fights, I really like it overall. 3) Ritual boils down to "more packsize with some goodies". No need for Betrayal spreadsheets or triple reading for Metamorph mobs, doing challenges or boss fights related to it (are there ritual bosses?) might turn out to be a bit of a chore though. 4) My only huge negative (where most here will probably go "well, duh") is how much of a shit show trade in SC is. But ya'll have probably seen more of this than me so there's not much to say. HC trade was way smoother. =P | ||

In general i tend to avoid Bossmod maps now... I don't play a very high dps build (plenty enough for everything) and maven healing/boosting them just makes a few of them so damn tanky that it just feels stupid. | ||

I have no idea what is worth what, I always have to look it up... It's also due to my lack of experience and that is getting better but still... Also inflation is so bad in SC. Now that I have played a fair bit again, I would say HC is an entirely different horse than it was back in the day. I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much in the current state of the game outside of events and races. The clusterfuck on the screen is just way too much. The game was much slower and cleaner back then. I mean, Beyond was the first league mechanic that added some clusterfuck to the game and it was a huge change. Nowadays beyond is barely even noticable in terms of the clusterfuck it adds... I mean, sometimes I'm not even able to see the map boss and only realise it was there when the maven notification pops up. Not great for HC... On January 26 2021 02:30 Velr wrote: I'm doing splendid. I used all my good luck finding all trials in the first 50 maps and I still don't have a good 6L. I did defer a decent one, but it only shows up every ~30-40 maps and I keep being just short of being able to afford it. The one thing I really dislike about this league is that I can use the vessels to juice my ritual and clearly have enough to afford the rare items, but it never shows up when I do. I had the feeling that those storms disappeared after a while? When I fought him, I lost 1 portal due to a disconnect and died 4 times, so I killed him on my last portal. When I reentered, I always had the same path to him and the arena seemed about the same. The phase changes take a bit long though, I agree. Time to calm down though, so there is an upside to that as well. | ||
