Winter Orb build with Shroud armor (from shaper) and I use as many shaper rares on me as I could. Only Pyre ring and Vertex are not shaper rares. Of course Chaos double dipping :D Since I had to craft all my rares they are not as good as I would like them to be. I was able to overcap resists but life roles on them suffered. | ||

Trickster is just really awesome atm. He might fall a bit short vs Occultist with really expensive gear but he just is awesome from first lab into endgame all the way. I seriously struggle to see me playing something else as my next leaguestarter. | ||

Then new skills and changes get announced and something else always ends up being way more desirable lol. Every time. But I'm sure they'll find a way to make something else just as insane next patch lol. | ||

Occultist is kinda fun for the "bang" when you kill a pack but aside from that... I got the shadow/witch sides of the Talent trees pretty much memorised, i have no clue whats going on in the south-west. | ||

I play almost entirely Marauders and Duelists and no Witchea/Shadows. | ||

The big problem is that there are like 4 unique sapphire rings... Atm I am trying to gather 1500 fusings so I can 6l my Shroud. That will give me more DPS than having all my items slots be shapers. | ||

Still needs a few things to feel properly ready for guardians/Shaper - I'd love a Cerberus Limb for leech, but haven't seen a single Delve boss yet at depth ~285 (wouldn't say no to Command of the Pit for Arcane Surge on a Eldritch Battery build, either); temporarily trialing a lightning Doryani's Invitation to see if that will help for leech sustain on big bosses, and I should test out swapping out a Divinarius for Doryani's Catalyst to see how that feels. Wouldn't mind crafting a multimod "Gain (16–20)% of Elemental Damage as Extra Chaos Damage" weapon but haven't had any shaped daggers/scepters drop of a high enough iL drop, and I've still only got rank 1 (of 3) of the veiled "(46–50)% increased Spell Damage / Gain 4% of Non-Chaos Damage as extra Chaos Damage" mod, zzz. Crafted one of those "immune to curses if corrupted" shields, which has been great QoL. Still grinding normal Atziri to try and get the dodge boots, but no joy, and I've run about 30 other sac frags trying to get Midnights - need to either run lab or Vaal twinned triple-boss maps. Haven't found a Primeval Ruins to get the 6L crafted recipe - probably have ~2k fuses if I convert JOs but a little leery of not hitting a 6L, especially as I haven't managed to get a L3 Hillock in Fortification to 28% quality my Perfect Form first. Would get an insane damage boost from having 2x Call of the Brotherhood, but haven't found a single one this league (feel like they weren't too uncommon previously) - have been chancing every white cold/lightning two-stone ring (sadly you can't filter two-stone rings by types, which makes it a little annoying), and trying things like Elreon in Research, but no joy yet. Thought about spamming Estuary for Heterochromia but luckily checking some reddit "x turnins" to see you'd need around 50 sets to get one (compared to the two common Berek's rings), zzzz. I have to say, Synthesis seems to have ironed out a lot of the kinks - the rewards/entrance portal "save point" is great, and adds tension to figuring out decaying zones while not being too punishing. Have had some fairly absurb rewards for SSF - Blessing of Chayula and an empowered Uul-Netol Breachstone, a T15 Beachhead and a few dozen Harbinger's Orbs (2/4 fragments of the Harbinger shield, which still probably isn't good enough even in a channeling league but could be fun to muck around with). https://poe.ninja/challengessf/builds/char/Haasts/ObaydZakani | ||

From what I've gathered I mainly want to synthesize great base items with 3 factured mods to guarantee that I get 3 synthesized mods and hopefully combine good other mods. Ilvl doesn't really matter except that I want at least one high one of three, how high the base mods (and the factured ones?) rolled does matter though. Ideally I want 3 of the same slot. According to this 1 fractured mod and bad mod rolls are useless, so basically anything that's a bad item anyways? If I synthesize a low ilvl health mod and a high ilvl health mod does it roll each separately or default to one/combine the two? | ||
