Duka, did you end up running the BV Chieftain, and if so, how did it go? I've been running a pretty cookie-cutter Vortex/Cold Snap CI Occultist as a league starter; sitting at a lot lower ES than other people with similar builds/levels in SSF, though, as I've been putting off trying to 6L a chest upgrade that'd give me another 1k ES, and my gloves/boots are garbage (first league I haven't found multiple Sin Treks, and I was trying to chance them/Incandescent Heart/Heretic's Veil for a while). 5/6 The Oath for my next build; been running all the Carcass/Core/Malformation/Phantasmagoria maps I could find as well as running the proto-DO character through A9 BotB/Rotten Core instead of Blood Aqueducts, but that last card just won't drop. Finally hit 270 in Delve and am pathing my way to a Primeval Ruins for the 6L recipe, but no Delve bosses yet, or Bestiary bosses - going to try and target relevant Scarabs to chip away at that; likewise keeping Rin in Research for unique maps as I'm 13/15 on that (think I lucked out last league with Zana giving me a heaping helping of "open the unique strongbox" missions that turned out to be Empyrean Apparatus; this league it's Deshret's Storm all the way down). Just read on Reddit about how only Tower can be vaaled into Vaal Temple atm; fairly annoyed as I'd dumped all my Vaal Orbs into every T15 I had and was getting a bit annoyed that I hadn't found it. Wondering if it'll be patched once people are back from summer hols in NZ, or if I should uncomplete the other T15s.

It's not mindblowingly tanky or anything but still more than elementalist, and I also don't even have my loreweave yet (still tabula lul). I've been distracted for a week or two so I stopped making progress somewhere like halfway through getting all red map bonus objectives done, and it's really not much of a sweat through most stuff. I never got my Shaper 1H Mace to drop yet either so I don't have the nice Shaper main hand with lots of bonus fire/pen and the enemies explode effect. If you were going to actually trade (which I haven't) I think it's the kind of build you could get up to speed (as in bossing) insanely quickly on a modest budget, but you mentioned SSF anyway so probably irrelevant. I was using the crafting/gear section of this write-up as a great reference for how to really pimp out each slot in the short and long term. Honestly if you can stand the BV playstyle it's such a ridiculously good ability for both league starting and endgame, with several builds/ascendancies. I never thought I'd be crazy about it but I've done it for multiple leagues now and it's so nice.

Anyone have good ideas how to use Gruthkuls Pelt btw? Ive got two kinda; One support attack and one main attack (since you got a ton of jewel slots) for example Puncture-splash and Double strike-bloodlust. A retaliate/return damage build. Things like Teemus.

I got this awesome ring ~60 life/55 Mana, 40 Allres and ~4-40 Lightning damage to attacks. Coc-Discharge mainly uses Power Charges which are lightning... So because of that ring i shouldn't use Elemental Equilibrium, right? Or in other words get another ring? Else: What would the perfect setup for this be? 6l Chest = Cyclonce/Coc/Discharge + Inc-AE (for clear) + Powercharge on Crit + Inc. Crit? 3l Cospris = Discharge - Controlled Destruction - Inc. Crit? I kinda don't want to use Controlled Destruction on my Cyclone because charging into mobs and not critting feels bad... It's normally not an issue but it feels really awkward when it happens ![]()

Third link in cospri could be ele focus, nnd possibly swap controlled destruction for PcoC to increase reliability (assuming Inyas) even more, if that's what you like.

Discharge is mainly Powercharges + Endurance (due to Volls Amu).

As assassin I don't think pcoc is necessary, I'd go cyclone/coc/discharge/inc crit/ele focus/incaoe or conc or even inc crit damage. Definitely grab inyas, i'm in two minds as to the efficacy of discharge enchant over other options but I need to spend a bit more time in excel for this one. In the cospris discharge/controlled destruction/inc crit damage. To be honest, if you run herald of ice you could probably replace inc crit damage with conc effect in wep, though you'll feel it on clear speed if you're playing an open map.

Due to my Headhunter-Drop i am pretty rich so I got basically anything i want but I just "winged" my respec and gear (the above mentioned ring was actually just a drop). Atm i got the 40% Discharge dmg on my rare helmet and a 19% Wrath effectivness Volls Amu. So i run Wrath + Herald of Ice - The Herald really doesn't feel necessary but more dps is more dps ![]() My tree actually looks surprisingly ok when compared to various guides, some minor issues I realised myself but nothing that 4-5 Regrets won't solve ![]()

Back in the matrixfactor/morerain days you'd run ice nova in the links with a fire damage dagger for maximal damage, but that was before a cooldown even existed for coc. Using a lightning attack ring is disastrous if you're playing coc discharge. Shouldn't you want to have a higher chance to proc max power charges even more as an assassin, due to Deadly Infusion? (1-(0,75*0,865*0,975) chance per crit to get max power charges right?)

Looking up similar items on the market is tedious and not entirely accurate either. I understand that good rares are more expensive earlier in the league than they are later but I don't want to get into that right now - I'm curious what are the minimum stats on items to make them worth selling at this point in the league. Let's also focus only on armor and belts for now, because that is generally what I've been picking up and trying to sell. For example, I have a belt that is corrupted, 130 total health added, two resistances at 40%, and some other relatively minor mods like stun recovery and such. How many chaos would this be worth? Is that above the minimum selling level? What about a belt that is 90 life, 40 strength, and two 30% res? I guess to summarize my question better (or rather restate it from the top), how does one price items and know what is the minimum stats required to make it worthwhile? I'd be willing to sell things that are 3c and more. The only way in the long term is looking up similar items and getting a feel for the market over time. Whenever you see an item that combines a T1-2 defensive stat and 2 or more T2+ stats, stop for a second and give it a quick check that's not too narrow in scope. The trick is being smart about what "similar" means and getting a feel for the pricefloor of items (so you can quickly sort things into trash/will sell/will sell for a lot). Take your first belt, on instinct I'd say 3-5c at this point, 5-10c in the first week in HC. A quick check puts it around that range in HC. In SC however it's basically worthless. Super easy to judge in general is the type of item we're talking about here: X+ total life/es, Y+ total res, done. Most other mods are irrelevant there, we're reducing the item to "one defensive stat + resists" after all. Work from there and other things that make the item valuable on top. Depending on the slot e.g. movespeed, int/dex/str, added damage or specific bases add value pretty much exponentially. Where the money is is in recognizing when other stats or specific bases add a lot of value. Remember the belt you just mentioned? Those stats on a Stygian (only possible with a str roll) and we're entering exalt territory, even in SC. Analogue for rings for example: 40 ES, 40 Dex, 25+ res: completely worthless. Same stats on an unset ring and now we're talking. In HC that'd be an easy great sale by itself, in SC it seems to need some extra to enter the really juicy territory. You also need to recognize when dropping prices is crucial to selling an item for its proper value or when dropping your price will do nothing but lose you money. In general, the more pricey/specific an item the more it holds value just like in RL.
