Or are there better maps to shape? Why Belfry? It's a good linear layout, in previous leagues the popular t15s were belfry and siege but siege can't be shaped to t15 anymore, but maybe one of the other t10s became better to shape than belfry? It just feels like Belfry boss slows down the running process so much, and isn't very friendly with some mods (temporal chains for melee characters for example, hard to dodge some of its shit).
Yeah in past leagues when I did t15 belfry I skipped the boss because it was too time consuming with all the phases. Coves sounds like it could be a pretty good t15. Is underground sea or haunted mansion still the best choice for t15 and waste pool for t14?

I did Seas, Estuary, Moon Temple. Estuary has more mobs than Belfry, and boss is easy, but the layout is a bit awkward sometimes. Moon Temple has great density and is open, but isn't the most obvious to path through, and you only have about 3s to dispatch Transport betrayers.
If you have HH (or Rampage), Belfry and Waste Pool seem way better.

I haven't touched Belfry boss since the first time I ran the map for bonus completion. I thought it was common to skip a number of the more annoying map bosses because the marginal increase in rewards is almost never worth the longer/riskier fight. The Belfry layout is still great for speed.

You should go for most monsters. If you are going for xp@lvl X, you should do delving with flares anyway.
Lunaris temple and estuary are best this patch.
|
By delving with flares do you mean running routes without the cart so you're not limited by sulphite? This is something I've heard come up a few times but don't know much about yet.

Lunaris and estuary are the best to shape this patch? That's pretty interesting, how come?

This is very very old strat but we had better mapping options back then afaik.

Monster amount for sustain with bearable layout and decent/good bosses. This patch monster amount from maps is best since you won't be doing them for xp or maps as end goal. For anything versatile or self funded shaper farming u'd want that monster amount.

Heh special delving strat being very very old :D

Some dude posted thread about his concerns with the method, like two weeks in, and ppl downvoted him to void

Sustaining maps for xp is trivial if your delve is at a certain depth.

I rarely meet Niko and barely get any Sulphite. And I often don't have maps his daily spawns on and I don't buy maps. I rather quit playing PoE than trade for maps all the time. There are other games to spend my time on that are just as fun. Wasting time using this pathetic and terrible trade system is not how I want to spend the time I got for gaming.

Just buy gilded sulphite scarabs and get to delve 83. Get between 15 and 20k sulhpite per high quant t16, and every abyssal city you see is like 4 maps per zone in it. It's really not hard, especially as you can sustain anyway without delve/temple if you just invest into the map.
|
I'm a little confused with Delve. I want to access the 6 socket recipe and in the reddit thread, which was linked previously, it says "Lich's Tomb Abyssal City". I read that it rarely spawns? Where? Is it completely random? If yes, that would be utterly annoying.
|
I think it starts spawning at monster level 77 or something. It's a boss room, contains kurgal.

Atm I am stuck at t7/8 maps because maps don't really drop from syndicate, I don't run into Niko and Incursion rarely spawns map rooms for me And Zana does not refresh her inventory every 24h like before (this is how I got to red maps in previous leagues and would get stuck there).
|
This league is by far the easiest league to get to t16. Harbinger orbs, 3 -> 1 recipe has been buffed, horizon orbs, zana maps count as a completion. By the time you get to 90 you should be 130+ even ssf.
|
I guess I am just unlucky then. I got zero harb orbs, horizons don't do anything zana 1c option also does not do already and I have been using that. Zana that I meet in the wild often gives me shaped maps and very rarely maps that I have not unlocked.
Only thing I have not been exploiting is zana mod that shapes tier 5 maps. I guess that is my last option to get over lack of maps over tier 7.

For a 6 socket craft, lol. I would rather level Vorici to 7 (or was it 6)... Well, a long way to go I guess. Maybe I'll just waste 2000 jeweler's. Thank you anyways.
