Does anyone know why multitstrike reduces the dps of the icy blade of frost blades, the attack speed increase should also make more blades happen no? Considering a frost blades beserker since I have 2x touch of anguish + 2 abyss socket tombfist + lightning coil in my stash. POB does not know how to calculate this right. Other skills like Molten Strike also show reduced DPS with balls because it does not take into account you will be releasing many more meatballs in the same timeframe but only calculates the damage reducing part of multistrike.

Well, just found a Cadiro HH. Decent day.

Anyone else getting kinda burnt out with new league every 3 months and all the flashback races on top of that?

I am thinking of skipping main leagues now and only coming back for these flashback races at end of them. I find them more fun than new leagues anyways.

Probably code error like with molten strike everything?
And youd prolly want another st skill anyway. Though i guess vaal clone strike could do that.

At least you get a 2 month break if you only play flashback I guess.
Ive been playing poe on and off since nemesis league (the exile league before the vaal expansion). So maybe its a longer term thing for me.
I also feel in those days the game was much more relaxing to play. It had a much slower pace than now. Now it feels like youre just speeding through hundreds of mobs a minute with little resistance. You barely even see what youre killing a lot of the time. But maybe Im just blinded by nostalgia goggles. Or maybe ive let the obsessions with getting ahead of the market and playing ever faster meta builds get the better of me.

I don't play such builds myself so that is not my experience. But I do sometimes feel like I should be playing faster builds as I keep being slower than most of the guild. And I am super slow compared to streamers.

Wise words, but only being able to play a little a day getting back to high maps for the so many'th time takes me 2-3 weeks. By that time I feel like the next event is almost starting to roll around again. If I would take it even slower I wouldn't get anywhere I feel.

Thinking about a little more, maybe my issue amounts to the following:
a couple of years ago getting to lvl70+ in PoE was very difficult and meant something on its own. The top tiers of maps were incredibly hard to reach. So for me it was rewarding on its own reach a 'high level'.
Nowadays I think its safe to say there is basically no challenge in mapping. You can easily cruise along to T15 and lvl95 at which point it becomes just too grindy to really care about levels (and like I said, there is no challenge, just grind).
These days the true endgame are all the bosses: guardians, elder, shaper, uber atziri, uber elder etc... The problem is, I play hardcore, and these bosses are such an impenetrable wall on little playtime. By the time I reach a T15, I just rip on a guardian or breach boss or what have you. And it will take another 2 weeks for me to relevel a character.
I have played this game for probably around 1500 hours and I have never done shapers, any of the guardians, chayula, uber atziri, red tier elder or uber elder. It feels like theres a huge gap between the eyes closed triviality of mapping (except for a couple map bosses here and there) and the insane rippyness of the endgame bosses.
So you might say why not play softcore? Well for whatever reason softcore just doesnt manage to keep me motivated. To me it kinda feels like there is no real punishment for dying in softcore, so progressing is just a matter of throwing your character against things until you succeed.
Endgame content in hardcore is too punishing for the little playtime I have, softcore feels like there is no challenge, and filling out my atlas for the umpteenth time just isnt interesting anymore. I guess that might be my real issue.

You could practice the bosses on sc before attempting them on hc. Boss build options for hc are too limited, and I usually prefer glass canon builds for speed.

New league looks neat. I hope the cost to enter the dungeon each time isn't too large, especially when the mechanic hits standard.
P2W incoming though - mtx with lighting will help light the environment now.
If flashback leagues become guaranteed, I'm definitely playing flashback and not the normal leagues - flashback is so much easier to level and more fun to play, easier to climb maps and more. I didn't play main incursion or bestiary at all so incursion flashback has been quite enjoyable.

expansion looks dope. here's hoping it will hold my attention for the full league, i've petered out after a couple weeks in the last two.

Lol, infinite content now for PoE as well. Grim Dawn's expansion which is coming probably in 3rd quarter of 2018 will have an infinite challenge as well (see: http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75476).
Hope to see some meta changes at least. Else the meta build fans (i.e. a lot of people) will probably go Blade Vortex, possibly even in very tanky versions (the base high damage allows that) to delve deeper.
I expect KB to get nerfed (they kinda hinted that when they said they were unhappy how they knew they couldn't make Power Siphon as good as KB) at least. Possibly Elemental Hit too, but maybe not. This league kinda wants me to try some tanky max block Gladiator again (with Life gained on block shield), but I'm sure it's just gonna be a clear speed league like always and not insta deleting stuff, preferably offscreen, is a mistake.
I had not much fun playing meta builds last league tho, so I'm probably gonna do something weird anyway, like Dominating Blow for the first time.

Interesting. I think supports might become a lot more popular, in trade leagues having a support past a certain depth will probably be mandatory. Hopefully the other berserkers in flashback die so I won't have to get burned out competing.

I am pretty sure no matter how rewarding the delving is, there will be a bunch of people complaining online that it isn't as profitable as running infinite burial chambers with max MF gear. It's going to interesting to see GGG test whether all that "we don't want a clearspeed meta" crap is actually true, though, because an escort mission where you have to explore a procedurally generated map with scaling enemies is about as far from that as you can get.
I hope the deposits are rarer than Alva but provide a lot of time delving.

I hope the deposits are rarer than Alva but provide a lot of time delving. The cart will probably speed up a lot if you need to go faster... I'm sure GGG doesn't wanna piss off the "gotta go fast" folks. I'm pretty sure Chris did say that he'd prefer PoE to be slower, but they'd be risking losing a lot of players if they slowed it down, so they don't try that. They would have needed to do that much earlier, but they just kept increasing the power of items, skill gems & ascendancies without adjusting monster power a lot.
Personally, I prefer the kill speed in Grim Dawn (which is closer to PoE open beta or some other earlier state of the game) but I still enjoy playing PoE, especially when trying something different and when going SSF.

If you need to wait on the cart it's probably going to be really annoying. I imagine it will speed up to match you if youre going faster than its base speed.
Otherwise the endless complaining on reddit will make it so.
