EPTp.s. Chaos recipe isn't efficient when u do big boy content where u get so many 6 sockets that u can't afford to pick even the hubris circlet up.
It's also minimal when you target farm pure currency or cards.

then bump up the zone level by 3 or 4, add map mods (although you do remove the 100% dmg 100% life mods on the alluring abyss), it's not hard to see why you'd have difficulty. Basically yes they are supposed to be abusively hard. Killing any of them full-heals the others, the ranged one's rain attack is basically a physical 1-shot for most chars, they have physical degen that is one of the most unmitigable damage types possible, etc. | ||

I barely got one down, dont remember which, before I ran out of attempts but that is probably what sealed the deal lol. | ||
