Jup, same stuff in dark forest but i personally dislike the lair one even more and find him harder. I killed the dark forest one just after leveling up and used most portals but didn't understand half the stuff happening, Lair boss just kills me so hard, i don't even feel like trying again after a single death :D

How hard is normal Atziri? I have fragments for two or three activations, but I don't want to get 1-shot. A little reading tells me she has a resist piercing flame blast. does having overcapped resists help against that?

She's more or less a raid boss. Learn what her abilities do and avoid circles on the ground and you'll be fine.

But never mind regular, how does one take down Uber atziri?

I can do shaper/guardians without too much issue most of the time, but I never even come close with her.

Is it that only specific builds can handle her? (I'm ed/contagion)

atziri is pretty easy, especially once you're overleveled a bit.

what's the issue you're having with uber? the dual oversouls, trio, atziri or something else?

Atziri herself mainly.
Every ability one shots me essentially if I remember correctly (it's been a while since I've tried) but I'd have to try again to be sure.

I don't even get oneshotted by shaper falcon punch but if atziri sneezes on me with her spear I'm done.

I got normal Atziri down to 5% hp before running out of portals on my very first try. I think I had a total of 15c worth of gear around lvl 80 at the time.

After playing the end game for a while, I believe dps matters a lot more than defensive stats when fighting hard bosses. The faster you kill, the less time they have to one shot you.

shaper slam/ atziri spears are both phys, and the latter should do quite a bit less damage. unless you're not removing bleed with a flask and running around you should be fine. i don't remember the bleed being that bad though

How much HP/damage reduction do you need to survive a Shaper slam? I have over 7k and still get one shot.

Well derp. Probably explains it, bleeds are my #1 cause of 'wtfwhydidijustdie' and being ES based they just rek me

ED doesn't do enough damage to down Uber Atziri unless you are Occultist Low Life IMO, and even then it's not the smoothest. of course you can do it on other specs, but you would need godlike dodging abilities.

on my near optimal ED LL trickster, I had about 200k DoT dps fully buffed, but only 90k dps un buffed, which is what you're going to be during most of the Atziri fight. 90k dps is unacceptable for one of the hardest fights in the game

Yeah that's what I figured.
I am occultist low life, not sure what dps looks like with wither stacks up but it's 100k+ at least

I've gotten her to 60% or so but yeah the godlike dodging abilities is what it seems are necessary

well RIP lvl 89 Cycloner, was a good run damnit, highest lvl character ive ever had in HC. That being said, don't think i have it in me to level yet again, this was like 12th toon in HHC, pretty burnt out and can't think of any builds to do right now. Ill give it a few days and if I still don't want to make another toon, I will be dumping my cash in the guild stash, so in a few days time, check the stash and you might find some goodies
