So I found one of these: Sol Splinter Cobalt Jewel 9% Increased Damage 4%Increased Cast Speed with Lightning Skills +11% to Global Critical Strike Multiplier 7% Increased Maximum Life So...apparently this can be worth a lot? I made the hilarious mistake of pricing it at 2c and immediately got spammed by 50 people in 2 seconds lol. Looking up similar jewels some of them are going for 100c-300c with the 4th stat being +damage with Staves or Daggers or whatever, but also worth noting, none of them have the 7% life mod, the others are all lower. Any idea what I should be looking for here? | ||

Note I am MoM and I got about 100 more mana than what is perfect for a balanced life/mana ratio. Also all my dependable leech is life only. I can leech mana only when Tempest Shield curses enemies with Warlord's Cry. #1 The Covenant: more dps (about 12k vs map bosses); life +mana gained comes to about equal EHP; lets me use life for casting leaving all my mana for MoM usage which helps vs multiple bigger hits as replenishing mana is harder for this character; +230 ES #2 Carcass Jack: around 80-100c cheaper ( I can invest difference in cost into lvl 21 Blade Vortex); more evasion (evade chance goes from 20% to 33%); +20 life but no mana (still lets me get a bit better leech); gives all resistances which lets me buy a bit better jewel with 12% inc damage instead of all res (but I already calculated this into dps difference); +1 AoE when mapping; lets me use Vaal Pact since I will be using mana for casting This probably seems like Carcass Jack should be a winner, especially due to price difference but what I am worried about are those 2nd and 3rd big hits when my mana is depleted and I am not helping it by casting 100 mana per cast BV few times per second. | ||

I assume, considering you took an endurance charge, that you have a voll's devotion yes? Most CoC discharge builds at this point start focusing super heavy on jewel sockets since they can get a lot of both life and crit multi that way, and those are the 2 most important stats remaining. Hell, a jewel can have something like 40% crit multi for discharge and 7% life on it. (since "cold", "fire", "lightning", "elemental", "spell" etc specific crit multis all work on discharge) The only problem is that those jewels are not cheap. However, even just 7% life 18% multi is 1c so... its very worth getting a few I don't know what your offhand is, but you should probably just use lycosidae and cut all the terrible accuracy nodes | ||

How do you generate charges with this character atm? If just using Assassing ascendancy that is probably not the best way. I doubt you ever get to max charges, I think you can scrap everything left of Witch tree and focus more on crit damage and survivabilty on this side. | ||

I get that the link i'm going to post requires level 96 BUT an intuitive leap jewel saves you 4 points over in templar (costs almost 30c though, so dunno) so it's achievable at 92 AND there are like 5 2-point jewel sockets involved so you can do it right now and then just slowly take jewel sockets as you level (I'm a big fan of allocating a 4% life node, then de-allocating it when I level to get a 2-point jewel socket, then next level allocating the same 4% life node etc. Costs 1 regret per 2 levels and makes it very smooth since you always go up in life and you also go up in damage nicely every other level). you could link your character so that we could understand your gear choices better in order to help optimize the tree around that as well if you want. | ||

Second Curse would probably be assassins mark or enfeeble/tempchains. Getting rid of acrobatics scares me away from doing it, along wit the accuracy loss. For Jewells i sadly lack the budget atm and a volls amu or 6l protector would be higher priority anyway? Discharges Critmulti is allready over 400% and I actually didn't even do Uberlab yet, do i "need" more or when do dimishing returns really kick in? The char has no real issues so far aside from the occasional oneshot (but i did some t11 whiteout volls protector in a 5 l carcass jack, these i can just faceroll now - not immediatly getting volls was the dumbest thing i ever did  and t10 beachhead was doable with carcass).Will probably try t15 beachhead tonight, depending on how that goes i come back crying .Is there something truely wrong with my tree atm? Because i got plenty of respecpoints to fix minor issues. As I said, run lycosidae to fix accuracy. Also I really am not convinced that choir of the storm is optimal but up to you. So if you don't have volls amu, then just cut the endurance charge/life part of templar and my linked tree is literally 109 points your exact level. Keep in mind you can get very cheap jewels and upgrade them later. http://poe.trade/search/haritanotoremd are jewels with 6% life 15% crit multi, for 1-3 chaos you can get those and maybe another semi-useful mod on top. The thing about crit multi is that there's never too much. Although admittedly, some flat spell damage is probably just as good at this point. Your tree isn't disastrous or anything, My version is just what I'd consider a streamlined version that is going to be that little bit more efficient on life to keep the one-shots away | ||

While it has lowish life and no resists, it opens up so much gear space elsewhere because you can totally ignore accuracy everywhere. Also I appreciate the attempt to have a useful evasion rating, but it really isn't going to happen with your gear. I bet you have what, 5K evasion? That's cute, but it is just vastly unlikely to help you avoid 1shots since many of those either can't miss or are on bosses with MUCH higher accuracy ratings than what your "chance to evade" is calculating against in your defense tab. If you dedicated 2 flask slots (1 to jade, 1 to stibnite) then we could talk but It's still not really worth it. Fortunately acro ignores accuracy ratings so it's probably still worth keeping around. PS you really don't need 3 life flasks. Most builds run 1-2. Especially considering you have vaal pact + warlords mark + life leech socketed, all you really need is to sustain any annoying degens and make sure you have enough life to get in on mobs. The rest of your sustain really shouldn't need flasks, so you should look at some useful utility flasks like the Wise Oak or maybe a Vessel of Vinktar (20c for the added to spells variety, which is much worse than the lightning penetration but also much cheaper and quite good enough). I'd also suggest that without frenzy charge generation, rotgut is worse than a well-rolled quicksilver but that's not a big deal. | ||

I don't need 3 lifeglasks anymore because leech is so much better but i did not have the time to reshuffle stuff after trying volls .I did the Evasion before actually knowing about volls protector, so yeah. Thats most likely a dead end. I think i have a vinktars lying around .Tons of thanks! I got frenzies from bloodrage but, i know this, should just scrap the second cwd anyway for a shieldcharge setup. | ||
