.. no clue what i'm doing. I run whatever i pick up, sometimes make it magic, sometimes rare, used a Vaal orb once just to see what that does. Is there a, how do i put it.. System? Should i run X until X? Should i modify maps (i think that's meant by shaping?), should i not? Should i run Lab even to get my gear to a more decent spot (although i'm rescapped, that's all i care for, for now)? I feel a little bit lost, not knowing where i should be headed. | ||

Just not entirely sure how i should go at it. Go all out on all maps in regards to Chisels, etc. Haven't found a good guide either. | ||

The amount of currency you put into a map depends largely upon how much a map costs. For example, if you can buy a Tier 10 map for one alch it would be dumb to use an alch on a tier 5 map when you could just use that currency to buy a tier 10 map instead. Save your chisels for red maps. You do want to unlock things in the atlas for the map drop bonus, but don't spend more than needed to get that like your vaal orbs. | ||

I've been selling lots of sets of 3 to clear them out but I'm easily clearing yellows so I just don't know if I need to hold on to so much anymore. I guess I'll keep a couple of my favorites for alts and just start selling a lot. | ||

Edit: also what is the opinion on id vs unid chaos vendor recipe? I've been saving all my pieces unidentified for now since it's 2c, but are the chances of finding something that's worth >1c decent per "set" of rare gear? | ||

I generally have three full sets (apart from rings/amulet) ready to go unID in the quad tab. Until i find two rings/amulet (which i do rarely -.-), i ID everything gearwise i find apart from obviously rings/amulet. Once an unID set is gone, i fill it back up as i find it - once an item is "three times in the stash", i start to ID them again. | ||
