It's actually pretty fast for how safe it is. Speed: White packs - I don't think anything clears faster than CA. You literally fire an arrow and keep running. Blue packs: I have to fire an arrow as I approach, and then fire an arrow as I leave. Probably comparable to sunder without super good gear. Rares: I skip most of the time. If they are fast enough to follow me I shoot trailing arrows behind me until they die. Otherwise it's too slow to kill them. Bosses: This is where you are slowed down, and what makes it not a "great" skill to level with. Boss fights take pretty long. But they are super safe, and this is hardcore. Safety: I haven't really felt this safe with any other build. It's like totems but you are less likely to run out of mana and you are better vs adds (since you can put the poison everywhere). I have a large life pool and MoM with a lot of mana. I don't care about getting hit by stuff, and my gear is shit. I've felt safe despite having horrible resists. I've stayed at or below level in all zones, and did most of the bosses with bad resist of their element (including having like 20% lightning resist vs some.. lol) So yeah, It's not speedrunning good but since I am not the best at going through the normal content I think I will use this to level, just for the safety of it. | ||

Well, basically what the headline says. More player life = higher dark pact base damage. The fact that he deleted is troubling though, maybe it was because the thread was too low effort? Basically was just a link to a GGG post. Though I guess it's nothing really new; but I wouldn't have assumed the base chaos dmg gets increased, just some increased or more multiplier based on life. It just seems a bit OP if true, which is why the guy made that reddit post. Then again, only time (and the patch nodes) will tell! | ||

No life, no dmg. Less life than what need, dmg lower accordingly. Enough life, full amount of dmg potential. Higher life than that doesn't matter for dmg. | ||

The guy who made the post & deleted it was a regular (H4xalotl? Something similar to this, purple flair with lots of symbols) and he was a bit salty in the sense of "You guys are downvoting this to keep your builds secret, aren't you?" Guess it's time to mathcraft that stuff, but it shouldn't be much more than lots of life, Berserker & VP right? Not even sure if there's any aura that even makes sense apart from maybe Blasphemy Temp/Enfeeble. Something like this basically, alternative throw out MoM and fit in two Blasphemies, without those it should be a bit of extra EHP for bad spots. | ||
