Kill pack -> backtrack to kill stragglers -> quicksilver back across first pack to progress in map -> they were bearers -> standard.

Since I died again with my pizzastick (dont ask me how I managed to be this bad) does anyone have a good and fun suggestion for a hc build?

I am considering HOWA but the leveling seems painful and my total currecny of around 20c might not grow enough until lategame. I dont wanna go raging spirit, summoner or EA as these are my usual builds. Given that I managed to die as Pizzastick tankiness combined with doing all content would be nice

Dual wield RF chieftain with Dyadus in offhand, played it to 93 and enjoyed it. The only things that cost anything is lvl 20 PoF and the +3 unset. Legacy blood dance, Immortal Flesh and Dyadus are all really cheap.

After I died to bearers I downed all guardians deathless first attempt on standard.

The idea being that dyadus chill causes rf to literally just do 100% more damage and you use flat regen and blood dance to offset your lack of max res?

Thinking about putting together a Terminus Est crit flicker assassin. Having trouble deciding between a Phys-to-Lightning version and a Phys/Chaos poison-based one. Thoughts:

-----

Lightning-based (tree)

+ Cool Choir of the Storm synergy (does lightning damage, relies on and benefits crits, extra crits from its spell will make frenzy charges easier to sustain
+ Amazing with Vinktar's
+ H I P S T E R B U I L D S
- Will probably have damage issues with no double-dipping
- Choir is expensive
- Even with conversion Vinktar's, can't get 100% damage conversion

Poison-based (tree)

+ Big double-dipping damage
+ Won't constantly die to reflect
- Doesn't use Choir or Vinktar's as well
- A bit more skill-point starved
- Might have trouble maintaining frenzy charges, due to not having extra hits from Choir and HoT

(both trees subject to optimization)

Yup, shit dies real fast. It's a shame some of the endgame bosses are chill immune though, would be neat if GGG could change that to 100% reduced chill effect or something, would also help out hypothermia.

the mid league patch totally killed my ranged AW summoner because i relied on the weapon not summoning ranged weapons with its melee AW link.

now i had to buy that cutlass for 2 ex and my clear speed is worse -.-

I'm running a poison based one this league and so far its been a blast. Can't comment too directly on your tree since mine is life based using legacy CoD and acro.

I will say that I'm a bit skeptical of the DPS you'll get with the poison tree, since I'm not too excited about what I've got and I'm all the way down in duelist picking up DPS nodes.

Blood Rage is incredibly good on this build (100% solves the frenzy problems that you will have otherwise), but probably isn't as fun when you are CI

Lightning CI tree sounds way more hilarious imo, though I'd make sure to grab the new arcing blows at least. Also I found that 0.4% mana leech wasn't quite enough (even before I went CoD), but you might make up for it with the extra regen from being in the top of the tree.

How could you have frenzy charge problems with Terminus Est Assassin? I'd imagine getting 80+% crit chance isn't too tough and with Multistrike you shouldn't have any trouble...
