MoM only works with hits, and most chaos damage is degen

hmmm so brass dome that's new item to me
looks.... incredibly good? how rare is that item? how is brass dome juggernaut not super OP?
Yes, Brass Dome Juggernaut is pretty tanky. It's pretty rare as it drops only from Guardian of the Minotaur

giving up 100+ raw hp on your chest piece is a huge tradeoff, raw life pool is too important. my impression is that it might be a bit of overkill with basalt flask and all the rest. big ele hits are whats scary.
prices arent crazy high on poe.trade. its gonna be strong if you build around it, but will have limitations nonetheless.
actually, the selling point of it is the "no extra damage from crits", after that the armour.
yeah that was the primary selling point for me. well and obviously the armor is very good. no lfie sucks but it does give you an opportunity to really maximize your life nodes on the tree(if you are jugg)

I think that's key about both Brassdome and his little cheap cousin (Bramblejack). Juggs that build around it pretty much have to either use multiple resist flasks or do specialized tasks with low ele damage (Uber Lab), otherwise ele damage is gonna blow them up eventually.
Well at least ele crits aren't gonna blow them up while they might blow up those with 100 life on their chest armour.
Yeah, really, I think ~300 life is nice and all but i'd take no crits over that.
In the tree I linked you have 50 int in the jewel slot above the witch starting area, the mana passive gives 20 int.
no clue on actual rarity but I believe it's rarer than the mace. I did like 5 minotaurs, got 2 maces 1 armor. it's certainly more expensive on the market
I think it's a very powerful chest, but I don't think I'd ever use it for a stupid reason.. I hate minus movement speed haha. not only for clear speed reasons, but a lot of bosses these days are very skill shot oriented, move a bit too slow and phoenix explodes on you, shaper lazer beamz you, etc. I know you've got movement skills but sometimes you just gotta move
I think the main factor making people not notice it is just that it's a unique defensive chest, where there are many more common / cheaper options like LC and belly of the beast.

3.0 HYPE:

Still torn whether I'll go EA or SWT first. I like the idea of both but I probably wouldn't play either later in the league. EA might start a bit slower (aka might have to flameblast till Merci) but prolly clears a bit faster and sounds more chill for Lab. Hnggg..
lemme know which one you decide to go, I'll go for the opposite build. don't want us competing over gear LOL, and I don't mind playing either one
So long as one of you goes marauder I'm going to pester for immortal call increased duration :D
By the way, in my levelling adventures ea is better at everything except lab
is templar the SWT class? that dude gets IC and ID
I hate these days in between, where you are reverted back to standard. I don't understand why it is necessary to close the former league 3 days prior.
Marauder duelist are imo the best

I would have expected the high HP pool and damage make EA better there.
My main fear with EA is that until you have Quill+Wyrmsign you're prolly farming Merci Lake anyway and then transition. Also blowing up to reflect before having done Uber Lab sounds sketchy. And I'm not sure I 100% trust the Sherkhan "2 arrows clear fast enough"-strat when his videos are all ass.
And now you're pressuring me, meanwhile SWT is safe, established and I'm 100% sure it will do exactly what's on the package.
GUESS IM PLAYING EA. =D
e: Yeah, Templar or Assassin for SWT. Templar wins solo/small groups/levelling, Shadow wins if you have a support/someone who actually curses shit for you.
This was Karvs SWT Assassin as Templar, I'd be surprised if there's stuff that can be done better there tbh.
I'm still brooding a bit over the EA tree bo1b posted above but doubt much can be changed either. RT is obsolete with the Golems, Chance to Ignite is a bit low before Eye/Moku's but not like we can do much to help that, even though it seems a bit meh. Doubt one can squeeze more defense out as well with 6 jewels and 245% Life.
