Nah, looks fine to me. But I never played a trapper. I would assume that the trap trigger radius nodes you didn't pick up yet are better the faster throwing ones, but maybe I'm wrong.


I wouldn't take either of them if I can avoid it, like in the Saboteur Cluster. I played multiple trappers in the past and I never felt the trigger radius was an issue if you know where to throw the traps. I think throwing speed can help in fights where you need to move a lot.

I actually felt the labyrinths arent that scary at all as long as youre overleveled. Some of the traps can be a little dodgy, but with some lightning warp/blink arrow/whatever you can skip most of them. Izaro is also a complete pushover if you dont give him buffs.
That's the 2nd time in a week I've seen someone sig a quote from this GD and I have never witnessed a sig quote happen in my TL history ever before. -Najda

I like my melee Gladiator on HC, I feel like it clears faster than my Bladefall Assassin whose dmg is higher. In general my melee char feels pretty safe, but I know that feel when you take surpringly big hits which wouldn't matter with a ranged char. My Gladiator is only lvl 83 because I play more SC and lately I only played Merciless Labyrinth runs on HC.

Defensive stats of it are 5190 Life, 74% Block & Spellblock, 10665 Armor (21963 /w granite), 24% Evasion, 6% Dodge, Basalt Flask, Fortify on Leap Slam but only 3 endurance charges (chose Frenzy from Merc Bandit). I'm also using 20q Enfeeble on CoH with the melee trigger gems. Labyrinth Izaro is usually easy enough to facetank (aside from when I get teleported). In terms of offensive stats my DPS is "only" 21k with Earthquake and all self buffs and RT with only a 4L. I guess I could and probably should respec my build and go from my 294 dps Mace to a Varunastra because it seems to be OP, but good ones are also not cheap.

Also I'm not really sure if Earthquake is the correct skill to use. I know Earthquake is OP and I really like its AoE, but I also know it's better with slow attack speed. My weapon is pretty slow (1.27), however I still have 3.16 attacks per second with Onslaught and Frenzy Charges up. I could imagine Ice Crash would do more damage, but I didn't test it yet.

edit: Just 5Led with 25 fusings with Kuduku method, quite happy.

I'm pretty sure earthquake is like better than icecrash DPS before you factor in the explosion part so no, u shouldn't go icecrash.

I guess I should start using Blink Arrow then. I don't have any movement skills right now, although I do have enough slots. Not used to playing a char that holds a bow I guess, lol.

Melee trigger gems dont work with fortify because GGG couldn't balance a pyramid on it's base. They work fine with everything else.

It's minions that don't work with CoH (for above mentioned reasons).

Get some life for yourself. Most beginners don't skill life and get rekt in cruel with 600 hp. Although it might not be much of a prolem for you if you are going minions. I would still aim for 100-150 % life by the time your build is finished. Having 1-2k life in normal and 2-3k life in cruel should be safe, especially for a summoner (and I guess softcore?). Minions are rather slow in the beginning but pretty safe to play and easy to gear for a simple playthrough. Zombies are pretty good.

For your equip, get life on it as well as elemental res. Capping your res at 75 is important just like, or even more than, in d2. There are helmets with +1/+2 to minion gems, which could be nice.

Don't go for too many different skills. Focus on one or two minion skills and support them with curses, auras and offerings. Adding another cold spell might not help much. Just takes away from your minion damage and there is enough to cast all the time anyways afaik.

Well, to level up it is probably going to be easier to focus on spells, as it is very simple to scale spell damage. You get yourself some sort of 3-linked item (either buy a lifesprig for a couple chaos orbs or you can get a quartz scepter and craft +1 gems to it - do this by making the scepter magic quality, then selling it, an alteration orb, and a resistance ring to a vendor (fire ring = +1 fire gems, saphire = cold gems, topaz = lightning gem).
As for summoner there are many good uniques that are quite cheap for summoners, but as I said I would suggest focusing on spells and go from there once you reach level 60-70 (merciless dried lake).

I fixed a few pathing issues, removed a few bad damage nodes as well as a few clusters to get some life in exchange. I tried to leave the tree the way you did it as much as I could. It's a lot of points though and leveling into the 90s takes a lot of time, although not nearly as much as d2 currently.

Hey, I made a trapper this league and pretty much winged it. Your build looks pretty similar to mine starting out, although nothing seemed appealing to grab around level sixtyish, so I went over to templar. Im not really crazy about it though. I was thinking about investing into crit nodes (im right next to just about all of them) but decided against it as im using controlled destruction in both my traps currently.

I also thought about elemental overload, and figured I could get something to proc it, but everything dies pretty quickly already so I dont know if having a skill I just throw out to proc crits is really worth it, Ill probably try it out eventually.

All in all pretty happy with my trapper though.

I went to click on my stash and it opened up and had a shitload of awesome high(ish) level stuff... then I realized I had actually clicked on the "guild stash". How exactly does that work? Is that just a community chest where guild members just store some stuff that they don't need but don't want to sell, in case other members might be interested in taking them?
