But yeah, might as well keep it SF related if the titles are changed, instead of "Super Jarvan IV Fighter IV: FOTM Edition" Pretty sure he was just playing dumb("trolling"), especially because he said that he tried to google it.
Super Sakura Fighter makes sense because "Sakura" starts with an "s" as well and the length is about the same. Well, we could also honor Strip Fighter 2 but I doubt anyone really wants that.

The thing about Genei-Jin is that it's much easier to confirm than other supers (go straight into it from your normal BnB), pushes you to the corner, and gives Yun a free mixup after.
Other supers are more difficult to land or much more situational, but when a normal 25% BnB gets a free 20% tacked on along with positional advantages, it's pretty sick. The damage isn't insane, but it's good.

Also, price dropped on the PC version for European Steam (40 euro to 30 euro). It's a hassle to cancel it though (Steam Support was quite curt in their reply, first saying that they would only refund this one time as a customer courtesy, but you can get pre-orders refunded (it's in their policy as an exception!)) and the fuckers refunded my money as Steam Wallet credit...I just wanted my 9 euro difference back, you fuckers!
Also pretty bad that they don't even inform people about this or compensate early buyers for the difference!

It's not easier to confirm, its the exact same to confirm. Its a Super.
Pushes you to a corner? Lot of other Supers do, but this one only does if you don't drop it (and not dropping it starting anywhere but the corner is hard as fuck).
Free mixup after? Yeah if you can execute the whole super.
It's a good super but its not broken lol.

i dunno it's up there in terms of brokenness, not like the combos are actually hard or anything, spend like an hour in training mode tops zzz the only "hard" thing is knowing what routes to take depending on the situation but half of it is just doing hopkicks anyways

I feel dumb asking this, but how do I direct Vega's EX FBA so that it goes to the opposite wall and hits on the way up? I keep trying to angle it towards or do different things but it seems to randomly decide that it doesn't want to go in the direction I want and ruining my attempts at learning combos.

numLoCK, use upforward to start the move, instead of just up.

Please tell me where I said it was broken.
As far as the actual content, I don't understand what you mean by saying it's the "exact same to confirm". What other character can do target combo->Super? (Yang? Don't know; haven't tried Seienbu)
Also, sorry, but it's super easy to push someone into the corner from midscreen. I don't even own AE for myself yet, and I was able to to a full Genei-Jin combo consistently from midscreen after a few hours of practice. Why wouldn't you be able to execute any of the basic variations on Genei-Jin? The palm repeition one is probably the easiest, and is almost brainless. Just because your execution might be lacking, doesn't mean that it's a good argument against the viability of the super.
It's not like when Boxer is looking to super through a fireball. Boxer has to react quickly to a difficult situation. For Yun, you do a regular target combo and you get all these advantages for extending it in an easy way.
It's free damage for doing what you normally do. Hope that helps you understand it better!

Too bad Mago didn't play Poongko, he would have certainly won. And also too bad that Daigo wasn't there =/

I don't follow the sf4 scene as much as others (since I don't actually own the game), but the only time I think I've seen poongko in vanilla was when he joined some street fighter world championship as ryu (i think?). It was 4 countries (USA, Japan, korea, and I forget) and daigo won. Did he have other achievements aside from that in vanilla?
I know he's the best player in Korea, but I only recently noticed him beasting japanese pros from SSF4AE vids on youtube and stuff. I never knew he was this good.

We didn't really get much coverage of him, but his Ryu play in that tourney was when he put his name out there and made himself known. He was a hype player because his Ryu play was really just like his Seth play - overly dangerous but really fun to watch when it pays off.

People try to peg him as an online warrior because he doesn't show up to any majors, but I knew this guy was a beast.

You do realize that the standard way for Boxer to land supers is to just tag his super on the end of his bnb combo, right? It's literally no different from what yun does.
Oh you do jab short headbutt bnb? k now you can super as he's falling.
I'm starting to doubt whether some people here actually play the game.
