Fingers crossed that they won't require your original installation to update && download a ~30GB patch... LOL let's not kid ourselves here... Seriously people, please DO NOT give in to your craving and pre-order this! Remember Blizzcon 2018, I beg you.

I am very hyped about it! Looks like they did what i wanted: better graphik, shared and bigger stash tab, automatic gold pickups. I am worried about infinite power leveling. I hope its not paragon leveling like d3.

and then 1.10 still isn't quite the best version, so that's just a graphics redoing mostly, nice for shared stash could have easily been patched in anytime . ......... i dont know lolz i might play it but only if its legit and cheater free and even then, are they gonna keep dealing with cheats or just let it rot after a while? again I suggest going back to 1.09 I think it is superior. Or maybe do patch progression on seasons or something ^^ that's kinda hard and complicated i guess. why use your high runes if later you can make a OP runeword with them instead, which part of each patch to use, or rather why use a patch older than 1.09 etc there are some bugs worth fixing like the desync exploit in pvp (on weapon switching) and overall pvp balance seems terrible in 1.10 and revolves around teleporting around spamming a few skills a lot (because of enigma 1.10... etc) I like the original graphics, they just need to be able to be displayed properly. i dont really expect anything w/e cool if ppl get to play D2 after this who haven't played it yet though it's the best ARPG i know i'll prob want to dodge it cause i hate giving any money to actiblizz. sorry want to be honest its not against u devs. love d2

Will i still be able to use my regular D2 is the question, or are non-buyers screwed. They really milk the cow with this one.

I really doubt they would make an effort to get rid of cheating; if history would be any indicator it will be a couple of weeks until patches are abandoned and bots/mh are everywhere, devs never to be seen again except to throw in a big patch that makes the game worse without addressing exploits. Would be an enjoyable game if there was a legit player-run economy, and rolling back to v1.09 would be nice but a pipe dream imo. Personally won't buy. They already got my W3R money and can fuck off with that.

D2 mods have recently picked up a lot of players. IIRC path of diablo had almost 15k concurrent during its last season reset. Project Diablo2 had similar numbers as well a few months later. I cant help but be optimistic. Call me a sucker but I dont mind paying 40 bucks.

The way they did WC3 remaster dirty is still too fresh in my mind, and I have absolutely NO FAITH or any benefit of the doubt left to give them (even though it's a different studio doing the remaster). And if for some reason this will be badly received as well, the rats will start jumping ship from this project just as quickly as well. The StarCraft Remastered was pretty good though, right?

With D2 you have a team that has experience with doing remasters (Tony Hawk remaster is amazing). Judging by the deep dive video and what they've shown so far I'm eager to jump on the bandwagon (despite absolutely hating everything Blizz did since SC2 announcement). Call me naive, but the fire looks awesome and I can't wait to roll a blizzballer in the remaster.

Problem now is the cd-keys you own (i got 6) will most likely not be usable to launch many clients for muling. By muling i mean having many accounts filled with items, just as plugy does, infinite space. 10x10 space is not enough. Also they need to fix a trading system so we can skip d2jsp. And kill bots ofc. Edit: An idea how to fix this would be as i said a trading system where you could put items on the market for X price (competing vs others prices) and this item wouldnt count towards your space, this way maybe 10x10 space would be enough and the few chars you have per account. Only question is how you would control this as people could put whatever shit item on the market, maybe it doesnt matter if there is a search function. Maybe there should only be a search function so you have to search for what type of item and sockets and defense etc (stats of item) you want.
