I've bought
Dark Souls Dishonored Natural Selection 2 System Shock 2 Torchlight 2 Monaco X-Com (well, bought it when it was on a daily deal like before the summer sale)
Dark Souls is a great game, was really into it until I purchased Dishonored. Blasted through that game, it really is an awesome game. Just started playing Natural Selection 2 today and had a lot of fun. I was surprised with the amount of teamwork and communication there was... maybe I just got lucky. Played an hour or so of System Shock 2, I hope to play some more later. X-Com's a great game and I think I'm almost done the campaign.
As for Torchlight 2, well I doubt I'll ever play this game. I played it for a half an hour and it was quite boring. And Monaco, I played it for an hour too and it was fun but playing with random strangers on the internet doesn't seem like the way to go. Also, the visuals of the game are very erratic and distracting.
Got about 15 bucks left on my steam sale budget and most of the games I wanted I've already got. Debating between rather pricey Skyrim DLC or perhaps Borderlands 2. Between Dawnguard or Dragonborn, which is the better DLC?

Yes, Dungeon Defenders was on sale a couple of days ago. I got the standard version for 2 euros something. There was also a pack version with €8 which contained all dlcs, however, I was not sure when I'll get to play it since I bought a lot more games then I originally intended
So far I played only Magicka and Serious Sam Double D. Both are really fun.

Sweet Dark Souls on flash sale, I guess I didn't have to wait as long as I was expecting.

Not sure if someone found layouts that actually work well but... welp. Just get a controller. =P

Anyone interested in a GTAIV like game set in Hong Kong, get Sleeping dogs. It's a steal for that price!

I second that, I bought it three days ago and I am enjoying it immensely.

I'm not crazy into FF7 but I do recommend checking it out if you don't mind the graphics and forgive some of it's gameplay. Yah I just played ff6 and loved it so I think I'll check it out. Do you know if there are any major differences to the original in the remake?
Major? No. The battle scenes have higher resolutions and the animations are smoother throughout the game among other things. The most noticeable one is that they changed the music, it's now in .ogg but was upgraded from the midis and sounds weird, especially the fanfare. You can easily replace the music in the game itself though. The only other notable thing is the magic defense bug being fixed (previously magic defense did nothing, only spirit and the magic defense multiplier were used). Playing through the game again now, I think the graphics actually still look pretty good, other than the character models in the field. The prerendered backgrounds still look really nice. I also found a mod utility called Tifa's Bootleg that lets you find, install, and configure lots of different mods, many of them being character model replacements, as well as other texture/music updates and a few gameplay mods.
Here's a list of changes I found (2013 re-re-release is the exact same as the 2012 re-release just with steam hooks): + Show Spoiler +The PC version of the game has gained significant attention over the years due to modding communities accessing the game. A fan also developed a rendering engine was also developed for the game known as Aali's Driver which would fix a number of graphical glitches, as well as other glitches and allow for more modding of the game. This rendering engine would later be re-used by Square Enix for the 2012 re-release.
[changes for 1998 release] The translation was re-done. Most grammatical and typographical errors were corrected. Other changes to the translation also made things incorrect, including time frames and less faithful translations. One thing includes Corral Valley (PS) being renamed Corel Valley (PC) when it has nothing to do with Corel, but is instead literally "Coral Valley". Mouths were added to characters. The Speed Square minigame is much faster. The Chocobo minigame freezes the game. A patch was developed by Qhimm which would later be linked to by Square to fix this. A number of graphical glitches occurred in the game, most notably Vincent's glitched animation at the Water Altar. The music was changed to MIDI format, and thus reduced in quality from the PlayStation version. FMVs were downscaled. Character naming screens utilize the keyboard to input names. These screens also now ignore the given controls and will reset all other buttons to their defaults (on the NumPad). A "Quit" option was added to the menu. When the game is not the active window the game will pause, however the music will continue playing.
2012 re-releaseEdit
The 2012 re-release was released in August 2012 to North America and Europe. In this version they used and edited Aali's Driver to improve on the files of the original PC version. The 2012 release therefore has fixed everything that was previously fixed by the engine. A number of new features were made available, and other minor changes were made to the game.
A launcher was implemented that serves as a main menu before accessing the game. Here settings can be changed and data not stored in save files viewed (such as achievements). Controls can be set from the launcher as well as in-game. The ability to change controls from the launcher means minigames and menus that use different control setups will still function with the user's chosen controls. The translation remains the same as the original PC version, however a few corrections were made. These include correcting the list of Greens items in the Chocobo Farm to match the item names, and correcting controls. A cloud saving feature allows files to be saved to the internet and synced to the web. This does not replace local saves. 36 Achievements were added to the game. A Character Booster available from the game's website allows the player to "boost" their save files. The music for the game is now in OGG format. The music is an upgrade from the original PC version, but not as good quality as the PlayStation and sounds like they were upgraded from the original MIDI files. The FMVs were upscaled to be of better quality than the original PlayStation FMVs. Shaders were added to increase the quality and looks of models. The Chocobo Minigame works fine without any need for a patch. The Magic Defense Bug was fixed. Vincent's Water Altar bug was fixed by changing his animations. It is possible to play the game in a windowed mode as opposed to full screen. When the game is not the main window the game pauses/does not progress. Disk change screens were removed, instead saying "End of Part X". Minor timing and background scripts were added and changed. The Secret Cow Level easter egg was added. A number of musical glitches can occur. For example, exiting from Mythril Mine into the Marshes scene will have the Overworld theme play.

The sounds were actually downgraded in the re release for steam. If anyone buys it please download the .ogg files and replace them otherwise it really ruins the game.

Try the demo, its got plenty of content. The full game has more parts and planets. It's an awesome game, but certainly not for everyone.
