If you buy all the stuff manually, you'll pay 18,55€. What the fuck. A friend still needs this, it would suck if he had to pay more than us. Any chance this is a pricing error?

I have no idea how the Steam email notification thing is supposed to work, but it's not working. I got two emails all throughout the summer sale, even though pretty much all of my 9 games on my wishlist got on sale at one point or another. It seems entirely arbitrary.

I mentioned it in the SSF4AE thread here on TL. I guess the wishlist sale notification system doesn't work properly

Dishonored Borderlands 2 Dark Souls Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition Resident Evil 6 Deus Ex Human Revolution Trials Evolution Gold Edition Granted these are games I've always wanted but never cared about enough to justify the pricetag. It's almost as if they're using state of the art marketing techniques to get my money... When am I even going to have time to play these games? Oh God what have I done...

It is a marketing plan, but nothing state of the art. The act of having deep discounts to increase sales of older items has been in use for a long time. It's just that it hasn't been applied to video games in this mass amount ever before and the discounts has brought in a community that tries to recommend games to each other like we all did for our friends back in the day.
