Obviously not perfect, my main points of conplains being: - Inventory poorly managed: too much (useless) stuff, can not carry enough, console-ish, etc - Diffuclty badly balanced: a bit too hard at the begining (mostly due to a lack of a proper tutorial) and really too easy at the end. - Save system is a mess. Other than that, the game is just perfect. Characters, dialog, story, combat system, I've enjoyed every single minute of it (yeah, even the ending). I have no doubt that they will be working on TW3 and if they keep improving and listening to feedback, i'm already pumped (ok, that's gonna be in 3 years but still...). Anyway, gonna wait a few months for DLCs and stuff and replay it with different paths and specs! I think they are going to have an expansion first before doing TW3.

There is something that I missed and wondered if anyone could clarify for me. I'll put it in spoilers just in case anyone still doesn't want any early plot details given away: + Show Spoiler + The part where you enter the temple to get the King's children - Geralt uses some kind of ability/spell/power on the priest that makes him divulge the location of the kids. A box popped up that explained, I assume, the nature and name of this ability, but I can't seem to find it anywhere in the journal. Is this something that is automatically used at moments like that? Or will I need to know how to use this in the future? If so, how might I go about using it? The layout of the tutorial info is one of the things that has annoyed me most and, I think, has been the biggest factor that has led to people complaining about things like the combat system being stupid. I think the combat feels really smooth and engaging. It was a bit tricky at first but now that I've got the hang of it it's very enjoyable. It would be nice to have things a bit better arranged in the journal, however, so that you don't have to learn these things by trial and error.

You can use it in combat to temporarily make opponents fight for you. In dialogues, you use the sign deliberately. There will be a little icon next to a dialogue choice that indicates that Geralt is going to try to use the Axii sign. It's pretty overpowered by the way, I can't recall a single time where it didn't work.

It's the same as the Axii sign in combat that is the same as a Jedi mind trick basically.

Never had Axii fail either but I've always used it when available. I know you get some fancy bonuses to abilities from doing certain stuff, like + Show Spoiler + standing in fires gives a 20% bonus to immolation IIRC i saw the dialogue thingys could have a level of 1-3 somewhere.

I enjoyed the first Witcher as well so I had my expectations for this but it surpassed pretty much all of them ![]()

I haven't managed to get Axii to work yet myself, but I've only tried it once or twice and it seemed like the channel was getting interrupted or something. Or I was just doing it wrong.

I find it pretty useful in dialogues. I use it all the time so my Axii ability skill is pretty high and I've yet to fail in using it as a dialogue option thus far.

Quen was completely broken and I basicly never used it, knowing it would just make the game boringly easy. Chapter 3 was dissapointingly short, and I will sadly never replay the game to know how much effect my decisions actually had on the storyline. The replayvalue seems very low and only interesting for trying out different "buildorders" so to speak.

The only problem was the whole dragon boss when my sword hits for 11-15, because I was basicly 100% into magic, and that was more of a boredom problem then it being difficulty. There's only for so long rolling is interesting. Quen was completely broken and I basicly never used it, knowing it would just make the game boringly easy. Chapter 2 is basically 100% different depending on if you go with Roche or Iorveth, so as far as replay value goes for RPGs its almost off the charts.
