I think I made a bad choice by practicing the magrider, I abuse the hell out of its sideways movement and when it's on cool down I've been known to try and strafe a lightning tank.

I think I'm going to get like 7 levels of CDR for it so I don't have this problem anymore

With the GU11 that is expected in a few hours you might have different trouble than cooldown. The Magrider will cost almost twice as many resources together with the other MBTs.

I'm looking at the data now. 400 on a Lightning and 450 on a Prowler/Vanguard/Magrider? That can't be good. I could probably square against one and a half lightnings in a Magrider and come out on top, and I'm not too skilled at driving one yet.

The Max and air ones I can live with, I don't think I've ever gone broke in Aerospace and Infantry points.

Do new kinds of Alerts get announced in the GU's? I want some changes and I'm mad that they're not diversifying the Alert system in the near future, but maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place for the information.

It was fun fighting [N] on Essamir tonight, even though they were only 4% of the population. Having all those mossies turn up out of nowhere against the TAS air platoon I was in was pretty cool. Rah killed me just before our official ops ended.

I don't get the appeal of Indar. It seems like it's all just huge pushes meeting each other head on on mostly the same battle lines every time and whoever gets more vehicles and people goes forward. The only time so far I felt like it got interesting recently was once, yesterday I think it was, it got depopulated some from an alert on Esamir and NC tried come in and take TR's continent ownership, which was thwarted.

I just started up PS2 for the first time in must be 6 months. I remember being able to press a key to identify FoF but I can't for the life of me find the bind for that now. Did they take it out?

never mind I found it, I'm dumb

Instead I have a new complaint! I have tons of trouble alt+tabbing, in various modes. In fullscreen window, alt+tabbing simply keeps PS2 in the foreground with the start menu up, no other processes actually go in front of it. In fullscreen mode, I can alt-tab out, but sometimes can't tab back in (just shows tiny black box at the top left of my screen). Are these common issues?

We've had a nice turn out today as far as recruits and hopefuls for [N]. I've had fun with flying on underpopulated continents against the bigger outfits. Tonight for the EST primetime we messed with SG. I've been streaming these whenever the lag's not too bad, it does get rough in the bigger fights though.

The first alt-tab problem with fullscreen windowed, yes. Everyone has that and i wish they would fix that. It's not a big deal if you have 2 monitors but for one it's really annoying. For fullscreen, no, i've always been able to alt-tab back in, though sometimes it took a second or two when i still was in a loading screen.

They changed the Lightning to 300 after some feedback. The final prices are in the final GU11 notes. I'm yet undecided on the new prices. They are high and make resources more important but it also makes last stands and continent resecures a lot harder.

Only the splash damage to prevent those weapons from 1-shotting infantry which took the direct hit damage and the splash damage on a direct hit. It's reasonable considering that those weapons were supposed to be AV weapons but instead performed better against infantry than dedicated AI weapons. The damage against vehicles is unchanged.

The changes in resource price seem good to me. My quick impression of the game was a little too much tanks. Though if you like to play max and infantry a lot it seems like you might be living hand to mouth with grenades.

Mattherson can rejoice. The Enclave Quits. I disagree with almost all of the points BCP made in that announcement and i definitely won't miss TE, so, well, good riddance.

Then again, it might really screw over faction balance on Mattherson eventhough there are some better organized outfits on that server that could use the players that TE leaves behind and that probably quit as well.

Roadmap says SOE is planning to revamp the resources come September. Maybe BCP will return this autumn?

Good with BCP gone maybe TR will get some new recruits, let's be real though TE's been dying for a long time. I constantly see them trying to run recruitment groups. Zerging bases is only fun for so long. For guys who stick with this game interest is drawn to smaller more tactical outfits, much more fun.

Question: Do the warpgates ever get rotated? It seems like they are sort of imbalanced positions. Like NC on Esamir has a terrible position that gets attacked on both sides, NC on Indar in the top middle is super strong and seems like it's not hard to get half the continent, TR on Amerish looks like it sucks, etc..

Yes, they got rotated pretty recently actually. I have only seen them rotated once though, and I don't know how many times it has been done before I started playing.
