EPTPersonally, I would love to see some kind of handicap system where teams with all 5 points spawn vehicles more slowly or lose points quicker or something. It really does suck being stuck on your uncap for 20 minutes if your team is balls.

You're not going to be able to implement a matchmaking system into the clusterfuck that is battlefields massive gap inbetween the decent and all the rest. It's just never going to be completely fair no matter what you do. What you cando is get better, and take the so called "nerd" fight in vehicles to them yourself and destroy them. Most pubstars really aren't that amazing. + Show Spoiler + Take a look at this for example. A highly rated mad little kid who has played for ages and is ranked very highly in terms of stats. Get's taken out repeatedly by someone genuinely good. It's either get good enough yourself to be that factor who can imbalance matches in your own favor, or it's cry that the game is unfair and end up spamming noshar TDM 24/7 only or Operation clusterfuck 24/7 only. There are times when servers are massively unbalanced, but guess what you simply leave the server and go play on another one. It's not like you lose anything by doing so when there's no competitive ladder or Elo system in place. Go play where you find it fun, but keep in mind that battlefield at heart is an FPS game that has a vehicular focus. If you can't deal with that fact, then maybe you had the wrong expectations of what the game was. In the end, air vehicles are at this point considerably and very noticably weaker than they all used to be. If there was ever a time to complain and demand a nerf, now isn't it. | ||

There are times when servers are massively unbalanced, but guess what you simply leave the server and go play on another one. Of course! It takes me at least 30min to find a server that is fun to play on. And the best part is you don't even get XP if you leave the game. Its the games fault, not the players when the game isn't fun! I'm also bad at SC2, but there I don't need 30min to have fun. I go into matchmaking and I get a opponent that is near my level of play. The main-problem with BF3 isn't that there are Nerds who play this Game since Release and abuse every aspect of it, the main-failiure is the matchmaking. Is there any other online-game that has no matchmaking at all? You just bought the game and play against people with 500+ hrs of experience? Are they serious? At least there has to be a option is this terrible-serverbrowser that lets me search for Servers that kick all Maxlevel players. | ||

Mostly it sounds like you feel like you're not that good yet, but you don't want to play against people who are better than you. How do you intend to learn and get better then? Most people were pretty shit when they started. It's not like every server is populated exclusively by people with 700+ hours into the game. If it's really that bad, you go onto forums and search for communities that feel similarly and find servers that are well moderated in that regard. Alternatively get your own server for all the people who are supposedly in your situation. The answers are many, but by your original post it seems like you've simply chosen to forego them all and just quit and complain about the game. Fine by me, but can you at the very least come up with a detailed proposal for how to actually solve the problem? There's definitely a lot of huge issues with the game, I complain on TS pretty much every time I play but the matchmaking is certainly not a priority at all. | ||

Lone wolf/solo ain't bad playing if you have a certain goal in mind. Actually, I think it's better to improve yourself by playing solo so that you learn correct positioning and engagements, which is far more important than aim in pubs. | ||

I've found 2 SDM servers on Metro, in which most of the players that join it (clans and so forth) are actually good. Not necessarily high rank, but good players. It's fun. Infact i would say, if you want to play games where people are working with as a team, you are better off playing SQM purely because you need your squad or it's impossible to win the game. | ||

It's every team game with matchmaking ever. Previous BFs (although I've only played BF2 but I doubt it's changed much), dota2, shit, even CS - it's just that there aren't any ranks so you don't know when you're being raped by a guy who's played it for 10 years. If you can't find a game for half an hour, then you simply don't know what you're looking for. I don't think I've ever been in a non-clan/inv game where there hasn't been at least 1 colonel and some levels 1-10. This doesn't mean that the colonel is the superior player. P.S. when I played I had a dozen good servers on my favourites - there are plenty of good servers in TDM, rush and CQ. | ||

Release date is March, no further info yet but I believe if they say March that will mean with the early access for others to make it all fit in we will be seeing it hit for premium PC users before the 15th, possibly for PS3 by the 7/8th. | ||

Theoretically it should be out next tuesday on PS3 since they always release on tuesdays. If they dont realease it then it wont be out in march for non premiums or it wont be released on a tuesday wich wouldnt fit into the release scheme of EA. EDIT: Oh, just saw they released a premium exclusive Endgame trailer | ||
