There is no matchmaking at all. 90% of all games I join are buttrapes where one team holds all bases and camps the other teams base. What the fuck did they think? Why is there no better matchmaking? All these level100 nerds abusing these helicopters/jets - thats just no fun!
stop playing on shitty servers and learn to favorite well moderated ones?? it's really not that hard.
Yes no surprise there. What surprises me though is that there is still no release date for Endgame DLC and we've heard nothing about the upcoming patch so far (if there is one).
Release date is March, no further info yet but I believe if they say March that will mean with the early access for others to make it all fit in we will be seeing it hit for premium PC users before the 15th, possibly for PS3 by the 7/8th.
Called it, its out 2 days earlier but still. End game is now live for PS3 Premium users (in EU for now). Coming out March 12th for PC and X360 Premium members.
Haha. Looks like I'm not missing out on much then. When you're in the passion of playing BF3 actively you wonder why people don't play it more often. Then when you take a break and reflect, you realize how easy it is to take a break and just never come back. For me at least!
I really should've used suppressed pistols before the first patch that nerfed the damage output of them, as well as increasing the hipfire spread. 500 kills with each suppressed pistol is a pain to get those dogtags.
Honestly I feel like BF is casual enough of a type of game that a break from it, to me, has never impacted my performance by more than 5-10% until I was back up to speed. Similarly it never fails that any 1st match I play after a break I will rage about broken shit, terrible mechanics and nonsensically horrible teammates.
The game just seems to overall be very unaffected by time at all.
Also going to plug global conflict here for anyone who might be interested in organized team and objective based play in 32v32. The next campaign is set to start soon, and the teamdraft is this saturday if you want to be there from the start.

This doesn't happen to me so much. Tends to be a lot more spawning under helicopters and in front of tanks until I give up and spawn at base, and then a lot of being killed by 300 people at once because I'm the only person on my team willing to leave the uncap.
Single-shot deaths from something that's not a tank are actually pretty rare, because it requires the sniper to not suck and my team to be keeping the rest of opfor interested...

Your problems can be resolved by getting familiar with the layout and flow of maps, as well as checking to see if a spawn is safe before spawning there. I used to have the same issues, but now I do great in any gamemode, solo or not.
I'd suggest to anyone who complains about the way the game plays or about bad teammates to check out pure battlefield, the reddit community. They have a teamspeak server which automatically puts you in group chat with other people from your squad, it really adds a great dynamic to the play and people are genuinely nice, even to those who are not really that great at point and clicking (ie: me) and allows you to contribute to your team in a positive way even if its not fragging. I know its often hard to get a few people to play in voice chat, so a community like this really helps with bridging that gap and allowing you to play with teammates over voice chat.
End game indeed. This game on ps3 is like THEBEST ever. First there's the usual and mandatory 2Gb update, which we have no information about, it's just there. Then there is the End game DLC, 1.7Gb for 4 maps and a motorcycle. Granted, 3.7Gb is not that big, however wait till you read this: I've been downloading this shit for 7 hours now and there's still 1Gb left. I don't even

I think its your connection becasue i know PS3 users who downloaded it faster. Also its interesting that the PC patch is over 6gigs big and thats without the Endgame part i think.
Also DICE fixed the medkit can destroy walls glitch, it will be missed xD

You mean to tell me that medkits can't destroy walls and can potentially kill someone. Damn, I always wanted that opportunity to do that...why NERF it DICE?
Also, giving everyone the M1911 S-TAC...hooray for more pistol kills that I need to grind.
