This is a lot of fun, still learning the ropes. Only problem so far is team balance, but that's what pubbing is like in most games.

Getting really annoyed by assassins tbh. Unless i am a tank i just cant win vs one. If the other team has like 3-4 assassins i just have to choose tank : /
It's kinda funny whenever i get killed by an assassin i feel the same way when i get killed by cheese in sc2. It's like "You cheap little shit!" lucky for me i'm not an angry person

yah Assassins are tough at start, but once you get used to this humming noise they make when cloaked it gets a lot easier.

Also if you go Sniper, using those freeze bombs ruin me as Assassin! :S

When I first jumped into the multiplayer mode (Crossfire), after playing a couple games of single player, I was pretty lost. I couldn't remember what my skills were, I didn't know the maps and how to play the different classes.
But, I quickly caught on. The maps are pretty simple and the classes are fun and unique. It's a lot of fun once you get the hang of it.
I love playing tank, despite its short range and my inability to hit people with the rail gun, but it's fun to charge at people and it is excellent at killing bots. Plus, you're fairly hard to kill, which is great for my rambo style
There's a lot of people playing and plenty of servers, so you should definitely buy it.

I bought this game yesterday and I'm loving it so far. Played assassin mainly and it's very enjoyable. I can recommend this game to anybody that enjoys TF2 and similar team based shooters.

i really like the game. dota as a shooter is really a great idea which still has a lot of potential, so i hope for a mnc2.
kinda funny so many play assassin, as they seem really weak to me. i mostly play tank, who can 1vs3 assassins sometimes ...

It really is a fun and different game. I was somewhat skeptical the first time that I saw it. The "TF2" image that they seemed to indulge upon did not really appeal to me. I like TF2, but I don't wan't a game that tries to do excactly the same. However I did buy the game. So far I've really enjoyed playing it, and watching my friend play it. It's a hectic game, and a great multiplayer experience. Diffinetely worth the 13 Euro that I bought it for.

You seem to be assuming that the assassin in question doesn't have an armor endorsement themselves. A charging (assuming lvl3 charge) assault will bring a silver-armor assassin from 100% to about 5%, and a gold-armor assassin down to about 20%.
More tips for defeating Assassins, from an Assassin:

Tank can't be grappled while spinning
Do not use the Heal/Hurt gun on the Assassin, in any non-juiced situation. You have a shotgun that will blow her away in 1-2 shots. Learn to aim.
Don't use Gunner's slam immediately after being grappled, any half-decent assassin will just jump over it and cut you up.
Remember Hazards! a pop-up will OHKO most Assassins. (Up to bronze or silver armor, not sure)
When the Assassin sprints you will see small dust-clouds appearing from her feet. Also works while cloaked.
When you hear a smoke bomb go off, locate the assassin in mid-air. Unless she has cloak lvl3 you will be able to follow her trajectory easily. (Cloak lvl3 is a near instant cloak) if you can't locate her in mid-air, make sure she doesn't land right next to you.
Just because an Assassin is cloaked DOES NOT MEAN SHE IS INVISIBLE! Lvl1+2 cloak are visible across the map if you pay close attention. If you're pushing the enemy base keep an eye on the paths that she is most likely to take.
If your moneyball shields are down, and you're facing an assassin, Do not under any circumstances leave the moneyball unguarded. There are 1,000,001 positions for me to shuriken your moneyball and not get hit by any turrets. A juiced Assassin with gold fire rate left unchecked will absolutely obliterate any chance you had at winning
DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE SHURIKEN LAUNCHER. This cannot be stressed enough! Yes, as an Assault or Gunner you can out-damage it, but if the Assassin is popping out of a corner launching crit shurikens at you, you need to either dodge them or get out of there ASAP. killing any pro besides Tank takes less then 2 whole clips.
This has already been said but you also really have to start training yourself to hear the humming. I'm really sick of people complaining assassin is OP when they're the ones who are ignorant to her counters. Though she's still probably OP.

The one thing I hate about this game is you can't switch classes without penalty. If there are snipers giving you trouble on the other team, and you don't have assassins or counter snipers, you're giving up a lot as opposed to a game like TF2.
