According to the leaked intro sequence, the main character is caught by the Imperials and is sent to an Imperial fort to be executed alongside other prisoners, including Ulfric Stormcloak who is leader of one of the rebellions in Skyrim and charged with killing a king or something. Right before the player is executed, a dragon swoops in and causes tremendous chaos and destruction, allowing the player to escape his execution. The player escapes with one of the other prisoners via an underground passage, and once he is on the other side, all of Skyrim opens up for exploration.
So when I watched the stream, the player was already somewhat ahead of this introductory/tutorial sequence. He was going through a cave/dungeon full of zombie Nords, and at the end, he retrieved a dragon stone. The player returned to Whiterun and presents the dragon stone to the city's leaders, but just then the city gets attacked by a dragon and the player is called to help.
The player kills the dragon, and the nearby soldiers witness the player absorbing the dragon's "soul," prompting them to speculate that the player may be a dragonborn himself. The king of Whiterun is impressed by the player's deeds, and offers a house for purchase in the city as well as a girl warrior as a companion (the stream chat of /v/irgins nicknamed her "waifu').
The player is then told that the Greybeards are seeking to summon the dragonborn, and so the player is directed to the Greybeard compound on top of a nearby mountain. The player goes up, learns a dragon shout from the Greybeards, and is tasked with retrieving this magic horn (I think; I was browsing something else during this time). When the player goes through the cave and reaches the end, the magic horn is missing and is replaced by a note asking that the player order the attic room at the Riverwood Inn in order to meet a mysterious individual.
The Riverwood Inn doesn't actually have an attic room, but when the player asks for it, the inn's owner takes the player out back and reveals that she is secretly a member of The Blades, who have been in decline since the last Imperial emperor was killed. She also claims that the dragons actually did not disappear but instead died off, and they are not actually returning but being resurrected since their burial mounds are starting to empty out. She gives the player the magic horn, but says that she won't reveal any more information until the player proves that he is a dragonborn by killing another dragon and absorbing its soul in front of her.
The player follows the innkeeper to a dragon burial mound area and witnesses the dragon who burnt up the Imperial camp at the beginning of the game trying to resurrect another dragon. The player kills the resurrected dragon and absorbs its soul, and the innkeeper becomes especially impressed and reveals more information. The player returns to the Greybeard compound to return the magic horn and learns another shout, then returns to the innkeeper for the next part of her plan.
Apparently, the innkeeper suspects that the Thalmor Dominion is behind the dragon resurrections, as they stand to gain the most from the chaos in Skyrim due to their war against the Imperials. The player then is tasked with sneaking into the Thalmor embassy in Solitude via a party in order to steal some information from the Thalmors.
The stream got shut down right after the player escaped from the Thalmor embassy.
There is a compound of bandits alongside one of the roads that charges a hefty toll for passage, but the player can fight all the bandits to get rid of the toll forever.
There are a few creatures scattered around that seemed to be scaled way above the player level, resulting in the streaming player dying several times to random Ice Trolls and Mages as well as a Spriggan and her pet plant-bear-thing in her cave. City guards are also really powerful to low-level players.
Skooma is in the game. The player randomly stumbles upon a Skooma dealer in the middle of the road, and when he refused to buy the Skooma, the dealer tried to kill the player in order to stop the dealer from ratting him out. The player looted quite a bit of Moon Sugar and Skooma from that light scuffle.
Dragons are truly random. During the raid on the Thalmor embassy, the player was attacked by a random dragon in the outside courtyard of the embassy while fighting the Thalmor guards. The player died quite quickly, and the dragon didn't respawn when the player loaded an old save.
Some of this stuff may be wrong, as the stream did go down and lag a few times, and I was browsing other stuff during that time.
