I've also watched it a ton of times. Best Fus-Ro-Dah video ever. You can just feel that guy's pain. I love that "Oh sh--" look he gets when he sees it then instantly BOOM!. Just the fact that he actually flies backwards like he was hit for the shout, perfect.

I could be wrong though, you can always google it.

Decided I won't go in any dungeons (caves and keeps OK, to kill humans)... no real reason but I'm tired of them anyway from my other characters. And I thought it would be tough playing an archer/dagger character in caves but I kill a bandit with my bow and their friends just go to the body instead of me. Right now I have like 5k bounty in Whiterrun and I plan on wiping the floor with that city :D. In other cities, I want to kill everyone without getting a bounty though, which seems more challenging and fun. Right now I still get owned by guards with my leather items though. I couldn't finish the quest line even if I want to at this point I think. Might have to join Dark Brotherhood for their items sets. Not sure if they're better than glass armor overall, though I assume for a thief they might be.

I'm running with a light armour (nightinggale set) 1-handed dagger build with healing in my off-hand when I need it. I never use power attacks, so don't need stamina, and healing is low-costing enough that I don't worry about mana... mainstory spoilers: + Show Spoiler + In the first fight vs Alduin on the throat of the world, I 2-shotted him after he landed due to the kill proc happening on the second hit, and then proceeded to sit around while all of the fight dialogue played out. he never took off again, no rain of fire, nothing. Another time while fighting a dragon priest and a dragon at the same time, I ran out from cover and 3-shot the dragon priest A downside I've found is that if I've offed my companion a few times when they run in and get hit once by an attack, which normally does nothing, but the instant kill procs and down they go, not just unconscious, but dead...

Casting the armor spells while in a fight (get on top of a rock vs some melee enemies and cast it). Otherwise, spam candlelight but it is MUCH slower.

Now to figure destruction and enchanting ): I give up on speech and pickpocketing. Restorations seems long too.

It basicly doesn't matter at all which you pick, pick what looks best (cat! ofc), since in TES games, there's no classes or anything, any start can become anything you want, it's all totally up to yourself what you want to do with your character. leveling destruction is a chore, I got it up to 70ish through natural combat before I just gave up and powered it. Quickest way I've found is to do the College quest for the mana regen boost (or mana free enchanted gear) and summon dremora lords, kill them with ice spears ad nauseum.

Play on adept difficulty (under options --> gameplay) unless you have good experience in FPS games, then you can try going higher. If you like having many options and varied gameplay, magic is probably the way to go, but is also more punishing of mistakes than going warrior. Mix and match as much as you want though. My main character is a mage, but I sneak around and assassinate with bows/daggers a lot and have to use swords quite often too, since I run out of magicka often. If you're planning on going mage or something involving magic, go high elf, its just so good. For stealth, argonian is the best. For warriors, redguard, orc, or nord is great. Keep in mind though, that the only thing that race determines is starting skill levels (irrelevent except in the short term), passive effects, and greater powers (usable once a day). If you really want to go a particular race for whatever reason, go right ahead. I recommend that you also do not quicksave or fast travel frequently. Under gameplay options set autosave on character menu frequency to 10 minutes and just hit tab every 10 minutes to autosave. Not having the safety net of the quicksave makes survival more important I also find that making a decision and sticking with it, without knowing for sure the results of the other possible decisions, makes the game more interesting. Same for fast traveling. Avoid putting any perks into smithing/enchanting/alchemy, purely because they are overpowered, and definitely don't use the alchemy --> enchanting --> alchemy exploit, for the same reason. The best way to keep the game balanced is to only use the gear you find or are rewarded with. Yeah destruction is a real pain, I use that as my primary weapon and I got it to 93. Meanwhile my archery is 75 and one-handed is 83. I'm level 54 with over a hundred hours >.> On December 14 2011 09:05 Torte de Lini wrote: I got it thanks ;D! Now to figure destruction and enchanting ): I give up on speech and pickpocketing. Restorations seems long too. Destruction and restoration are definitely slow. You can level alteration and restoration simultaneously by casting equilibrium in one hand and a heal in the other, but I believe equilibrium is an expert spell. Once you get detect life, stand in the center of Riften, by the well, and cast continuously to level rapidly. You can level destruction by casting wall of flames/frost/storms on Shadowmere continuously. Enchanting is super fast, just disenchant gear and loot every piece of jewelry you can find and enchant it, then sell. Fortify carry weight, fortify one-handed, and fortify archery are the three most valuable enchantments I've encountered. To level speech faster, sell items individually instead of stacks if there are more than 6 of them. Also, try to persuade someone whenever the option comes up. I haven't tried to level pickpocket a whole lot yet lol but I've heard that you can give your follower an arrow, steal it from them, and repeat.
