I feel a good distribution for the character-type and difficulty described is 50% health, 30% stamina 20% magic. Recommend investing in health until level 10, then adding on stamina and magic until you have the correct mix. While adding on stamina and magic after level 10 you can invest skill perks in heavy armor to "proxy" a health boost. Recommend starting with the Basic Heavy Armor Perk X2 for +40% and boosting it an additional 25% with the "Complete Heavy Armor Set" Perk. Recommend using potions and food to buffer heals during combat in case magicka runs out. Food is one of the easiest things to come by and you can TAB and eat as much as you want. Don't be afraid to cook either. If you choose to play with a companion you can store heavy items on him (use him as a mule) and have a ton of food on your character in case you need it in a pinch. Don't underestimate the need for Stamina for your particular class, as it's easy to forget. You will need the 30% investment. In addition I feel that no only will your build work, but it will be very strong. It's a good mix. | ||

The idea is a high heavy armor, block, and restoration skill (with one handed, smithing, speechcraft, and enchanting when perks are available to be placed) Character, who basically can....take a lot of hits and NOT die. I'll likely use a sword due to the faster swing, thus making it easier to time blocks. Also; anyone come across truly knightly armor? Ebony is decent, but I'm not a huge fan of how it looks to be honest. | ||

I wouldnt put perks into smithing.enchantment. Breaks the game, it seriously becomes no fun. I find myself runnning around in full leathers instead of dragon just to even it out a bit lol. | ||

Also, I just got to the Blackreach part of the main quest...I wish they would've did more with it. It looked like a huge cave to explore, yet you just needed to go to one place. They should've had a few expedition side quests to make it a little more interesting. | ||

Since robes are so light you can also swap them around easily using bindings. | ||

Anyone else do some serious roleplay for their skyrim characters? My first character is a Khajit psychopath/axe murderer. He delights in killing women with his rusty woodcutting axe and wiping out entire towns during the night. Especially riverwood, but they're gone now. He is currently doing dark brotherhood and he is finished with the theives guild. My second character was a racist nord who loves to cook. He did the Stormcloak quests. My third character is a rich noble from Cyrodil. The biggest restriction here is that he is a coward, and literally cant do anything in combat but use a shield. He can only wear fine robes. He hired the dark elf in White Run for 500 gold and then got a dog for a pet, so he is basically running around with the A team becoming the thane of everything and doing the bard quests. My fourth character will be a spell-sheild who is gonna do the main quest. He is going to have a quirk to him eventually. I also played hardcore mode, no in game map allowed, im keeping a journal of everything I do in game (but seperate ones for each of my characters). Might even do a blog about them. | ||

Helm looks a little weird (I personally like it but I can see why others wouldnt) but just not wearing the helm the set gives a pretty knightly look | ||

I'm having a blast playing this game but I've done so many sidequests and my Skills have leveled way up and I've just noticed that no rare weapons or daedric artifacts I find can compete with a Daedric weapon. So my question is, do daedric weapons just smash every other weapon/armor in the game? or have I just been finding junk weapons? | ||
