Here is an analogy that isn't sarcastic, and actually makes sense: In Call of Duty, you get perks and weapons from getting points gained from head shots, kills etc. Imagine you kill an Arab bastard and get 50 points. Then you stand over his lifeless body, pumping round after round into his head with your .44 Magnum and get 100 points per head shot. Do this for about 20 minutes and you now have unlocked all the weapons. Hm, that sounds like exactly what I was talking about, and it takes away from the sense of accomplishment which makes a reward system fun in the first place. Actually that is a really shitty analogy. CoD is multiplayer so exploits like that force every one to do them or else they will be unable to play or be at a huge disadvantage. Skyrim people can do what ever the fuck they want and it won't ruin anyone elses experience, you want infinite heath, 10000000 damage daggers go nuts. These are totally different games and a really really bad analogy that you made because your upset that you fucked up your game. I dare say you look like a "asshole moron". If some exploit is going to level you up insanely fast yeah of course it's going to kill some fun of the game. I just don't understand why people bitch about these exploits when they do it to themselves. It's seriously like lighting yourself on fire and then bitching that someone left gasoline in a can across the street with matches locked inside. The means were there but it effects only you when you seek out doing something stupid like that. Bethesda really has other things to worry about that are actually issues like crashes and bugs that can't be controlled and ruin games rather than people "exploiting" a system in a game that effects no ones enjoyment but themselves.... tl:dr IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DON'T DO IT.

I've only played as an assassin, 100 sneak with mehrunes razor and blade of woe, ancient shroud set, and now I feel like I have nothing else to do besides grind for levels and skills or finish the storyline, which I hear is not that long. Of course there's a ton more I can do on the side but what for? To browse around or get more items? I was expecting a bit more, it's fun for a while but I don't feel as rewarded playing this game =[. Wish there was a multiplayer for this. Its not an mmo. People need to understand that... Don't grind ANYTHING in this game... Follow the story, do quests you like, skip the once you don't. Explore, get married....whatever makes it fun. When it doesn't do it for you, quit. (or wait for mods)

For what it's worth, it as a 1player RPG, I really care more about immersing myself in the environment, storyline, and my character. I try to not let the little things bug me, which includes the sneak attack failing frequently, occasionally bugged quests, ultra slow "follow me" parts of quests etc. Instead I focus on my character development, and trying to enjoy the various questlines. Nothings too hard for me anymore, combat wise, so I'm really just enjoying the questing and lore. Also, the Lusty Argonian Maid Vol 1 and 2 is some quality material, that's made it easier to sleep on cold lonely nights at Breezehome.

I'm honestly not sure how you could have trouble with this game on any difficulty....I have used a total of 0 potions in my playthroughs and no food either. And I wasn't using the crafting synergy either. My god you are good! I wish i had someone to teach me how to reach that skill level in this game! I am currently struggling with correctly right clicking my enemies on adept! Do you give lessons ?

No, it actually works fine, I specced into heavy armor and restoration. You get the heavy armor perc that makes unarmed attacks do the gauntlets armor in bonus damage. Heal in one hand and just whale on everything with the other, your range is awful but it works almost as well as a real weapon. I'm not trying to boast, I did nothing remotely requiring any sort of skill. EDIT: added bonus, you destroy at brawling

I'm in one of the mage quest where you need to forge 3 amulets! Summons 3 draugr bosses, i can't even kill the first one with all his bodyguards. I'm level 11 or something, must i have a companion to tank damage? My summons die instantly! i can kill the draugr with fire at a reasonable time but theres no way i can avoid all the arrows/shit throwing at me, any help? You have to be nimble. Jump around the room using the platforms. It might take some time but you should eventually pull through. The good news is + Show Spoiler + he's easily the hardest of the three

Thats probably the biggest bs i've heard in this thread. If you find this game so easy you don't use pots or food at all, I can assume you don't use companions or the semi immortal shadowmere to tank for you the whole game? If not, you're lying for a purpose I don't understand. On a side note, I would very much like to see you solo a dragon on master, by using your fists only and no pots/food.

Hey I don't play on PC but with these types of games my way of sorting that problem out is often to simply make a new folder for old saves, and keep the key save for the old character with the new ones (and so it falls to the bottom).

My unarmed char is lvl 16 with 6.5 hours gameplay so far, and I haven't killed any dragons yet (or done any of the main plot) so I can't say anything about that yet, all I know is that I haven't had any problems so far going unarmed. I've cleared out plenty of other dungeons and areas and killed several bosses. My fists do about ~40 damage which is pretty good for being as fast as they are. I'm sure im not the first person to try this, I think there are probably already youtube vids up, I saw one of a guy killing a dragon entirely naked on masters but he used pots. I do a lot more damage and have way more armor plus restoration so i'm reasonably confident I could pull off something similar with the full armor and no pots. I haven't used companions at all really after getting annoyed at accidently killing them with my mage AOE and getting kicked out of college for it, but I'll grab one if I have trouble with the fists char. Seriously this isn't as crazy as you make it sound, with the perk your fist do almost as much damage as any other one handed weapon, people solo dragons with one handers all day long on masters.

My latest character, the one I've played the most, is level 38. I haven't done much with the main story, mainly because I really wanted to focus more on side quests and take my time. I had another character I raced to the last part and it made the character feel weak and unfinished. So this time I went with 1H/Shield, Heavy Armor, Smithing and Enchanting. Smithing and Enchanting kind of ruined this character for me. Both are super easy to level and entirely too strong. I even forced myself to only level Smithing with ore I found and I still ended up with full Daedric armor around level 30. I got Enchanting to about level 70 and with +1H Damage enchanted on my Ring/Amulet, Life Drain/Steal/Leech (whatever its called) on my Sword and armor/resists elsewhere... I don't even need to potion and things die fast. Oddly, this was the goal but I got there a lot faster/sooner than I expected, I don't know if I can finish the story with this character (which sucks because that was obviously the goal) because its too boring... I'm either going to start over another character (again) and ban Enchanting/Smithing for myself or turn the difficulty up and keep trying to find the challenge. It just seems Skyrim's scaling is off, I either feel SUPER weak or I'm way too strong and everything feels like a joke. what i heard from somewhere on the TL forums is that u play on a difficulty where things take around 5-10ish hits (or w/e you want really) and you use the console command to lower your health by alot so u can be 2/3 shot by the weaker mobs and 1/2shot by the higher tier ones. then you could go as a melee player and not use any potions or healing spells. this way you have to use crowd control and companions while darting around trying to avoid damage. makes dragons really hard and sometimes forces you to use a bow or find large areas where a dragon can land but you can still hide. you could teach your companions healing spells i guess. also for extra hard mode you cant do any quick saves or waits for saves. and if you lose a companion or horse ect no reloads. i would personaly still wait befor bosses tho ![]() what im saying is there is enough flexibility to make the game alot harder if you choose

There is literally no way to make this game difficult if you are playing a ranged character. Kiting and hiding behind obstacles leads directly into this kind of abuse. If you play a squishy ranged character you can't just not kite or hide, but if you do you won't ever take damage as long as you have a bit of patience. When my 100% mage was in endgame I could be oneshot by every decently powerful enemy, but it still wasn't hard at all because I could just walk around a tree and they never hit me. Theres no such thing as "strategically darting around to avoid damage" in this game. If you dart around at all you wont take any damage, period. If you tried to play a melee character I just doubt it would work. As all the decent enemies have many attacks that you just can't avoid taking significant damage from no matter how skilled you are at dodging, barring just standing ontop of a rock and letting them glitch out. I guess you could get a weapon with really long reach and just nip in and out for like an hour, but thats not really any harder, it just takes longer. TLDR: with this level of AI there isn't really any way to increase the difficulty
