Uhm, I just + Show Spoiler +took Windhelm and killed Ulfric and is that it? Is that the whole thing done?
The questing is so shallow I don't know if I can be bothered to keep exploring let alone play. They practically transplanted Oblivion, made it look nicer, hyped up dragons so much and didn't bother improve the actual roleplay or questing. Go to X and murder everything.
I mean come on...

The game looked allright but quiet dissapointed. Mafia 2 a game i pld recently all maxed out looked 1000x better. Now the changes, I actually forced through the nvidia panel 8x AA and 16x AF. For the rest same settings. Results, the game looks amazing, hugh difference in gfx and improvement in stability. Please try it you gonna be happy PS: I got a big FPS boost before my fps didn't go over 60 now i run sometimes over 70 and minimum 45-50. Try it and lemme know your results. My brother is running this game on Phenom X4 and GTX 260 with Ultra settings and everything maxed out (or most of the things) without much trouble... Gotta ask him about his fps though, might be lower than yours.
Forgot to mention i got a big ass screen 23" so this a 1920x resolution =)

i like the game and enjoy it but yeah i agree with you, it was actually pretty disappointing to what i expected. they keep removing features that were already in previous games and dumbing down stuff.
and also did they even play their own game? how could have these shitty shadows made into release if they just like literally played and look at it.

Edit: nvm lol I can spend souls by presing R....lolol I am stupid
I killed the Dragon by Delras' house and went to the peak of the mountain to get the new shout, but I can't use the new shout because apperently I dont have a dragon soul...should I restart or is there a solution?

Took me 4 dragon kills to figure that out as well..... I'm no genius but I don't think the Skyrim UI is perfected. Coming from playing alot of SC2 the controls are quite "console"-ish. It's an interface designed to scroll then select and not to click and drag and drop.
The gameplay and world engine, outside of the UI, is the best I've seen. The world is HUGE HUGE, i still don't comprehend where the edges of the map are despite being lvl 30. I clear every map icon I discover, but I still haven't reached 1 of the major cities and have vast regions of the map I've yet to discover.... I think I'm over 50% through it, but I don't know yet.
The story/reputation are not on Morrowinds caliber. The map of morrowind was much more detailed, the in game map is quite poor in Skyrim.
Mods could make this the best game ever, if they fix the UI and make a social structure that you can work your way up through and control world events by controlling guilds/towns/factions etc. Skyrim feels too quick, its broad, but you basically peak out in lots of communities very fast.

I took a peek at a guide book, their map with all locations on it is littered with icons for locations. So much so I don't even know where to begin explaining it to you. O.O

I keep hearing about morrowind though I never played it. I'm starting to think I should but I would need to follow a character build since from what I've read it seems less fluid than skyrim is.

Where is the word wall in the Saarthal? I did the quest last week, but I never got the shout from the wall ^_^ I've looked around and cleared everything, but I can't find it...
I hate how you can just walk past the shout walls without noticing

Usually hard to miss since the choir starts chanting whenever you get close to one.

I know it must be a crazy number of dungeons, because it takes me hours just to move down a smart part of the map if I commit to clearing everything. I think I prefer playing this way though, because talking in towns and turning in quests forces you to endure the dialogue....
There's SO much loot.... must LOOT the LOOT.... quests are lame. I prefer to be anti-social and just clear dungeons.... thankfully you can complete many quests without even obtaining them from the quest giver.

holy shit what a fight
whoops not the ufc thread...
anyway, I've been busting the 2h conjured battle axe. Got it to ~45 damage at the moment. I only really use it when Lydia is tanking stuff because most stuff kill me easy :[

Ok so... this game confuses me sometimes.
Dragons? No problem just stand in front of them and smash bash crash until they die
Random bandit in small cave? 2 hits and im dead.

So im at 82hrs in, lvl 55, 104 quests completed, 210 misc objectives completed, 230 locations discovered, 100 dungeons cleared. Im beasting through this game, but im preety much out of meaningfull quests to do, and the city of Markarth is completely wigged out for me now, they wont let me pay them, they wont let me go to the mine(since i already did that part). So the guards are in a loop where they just keep asking to take me to the mines, but there is no mine anymore, so they just ask and ask and ask. Looks like im preety much stuck with just exploring the random dungeons and caves. Even after all this i still cant stop playing, godamn you Todd Howard, you've taken my soul.

Maybe you arent a high enough arch. or sneak level to gain any more perks?
Towards the bottom it will say a Number 20-100, that is the min. lvl requirement

Um,+ Show Spoiler +so in the thieves guild last quest, I was an inch away from clearing it when I thought, hey I could use this skeleton key for myself and walked away, so now that I maxed my lockpicking I want to complete the quest but the big round door behind the phantom nightingale which you speak is now closed. Any help?

I dont want to come off as a hater because I do love this game, but I feel like a lot of the guild quests (companions, winterhold, thieves) are really lacking compared to morrowind. While the actual questlines are more interesting i feel like you advance too quickly in the ranks. Whereas in Morrowind you started off killing rats and doing grunt work gathering flowers for fucking Ajira, in this + Show Spoiler +the winterhold quest is like a damn harry potter movie where harry gets made headmaster at the end, and the companions do the same thing where Kodlak Whitemane dies while you're gone and then it's lol you're in charge now bro. The plots were kind of identical . I enjoyed them both immensely, but I just wish it had taken more time. I feel it would have been more satisfying.

Are there plenty of dragons to get bones and scales from? I sold mine awhile ago when I had no idea it was needed for crafting.
