Unbuffed the Ebony mace weighs one less pound. They have the same base damage, but the daedric mace looks much cooler and it may or may not scale better with legendary buff. I'll go make one and test it for you ^_^

It doesn't matter if it's lame or not it only depends on whether you care to keep doing it. I'm sure doing such a thing is going to get boring soon enough.

I'm not sure if I really consider it cheap or an exploit or OP, I have to be stealthy and pick enemies off 1 by 1.

I'm playing through right now on normal and some fights use to be pretty tough. I can kill most things in 4-5 hits with my bow now though. It is. I'm playing a Dual Wielding, Light Armor, Sneak character. I have like 4 perks in Lockpicking, but that is it. It is extremely tough on Master. It may be because I'm the glass cannon type character, but I have to use fuck loads of potions when soloing dragons or fighting a lot of Drauger. Well it is up to you to decide whether you think it is cheap or not. This is a single player game...spamming Muffle for two hours might be legit for one person and cheap for another. ect. ect.

I use ebony maces as they have the same damage as deadric ones but lower weight. I'm currently working on enchanting. I think this build will really start to shine once I have enchanting and alchemy at 100 so that I can use 2 enchants/poisons per weapon. I might even swich to 2 daggers when that happens. I maxed out smithing pretty early by buying materials, making cheap stuff, upgrade them and then sell them off. Daggers, bows and gloves mostly. With the superior equipment, I had to change the difficulty level to expert and then masters due to it being too easy. Low level dragons died in one power attack cycle. I have it pretty hard against magic wielders like necromages. I haven't really started working on my resistances or power words. I'm just questing randomly, not doing it in any particular order. Just exploring the game ![]() Sounds a lot like what I'm doing. The questing part that is. I just keep going around doing w/e I feel like doing.

They both go up to 84 damage when I convert them to legendary. Guess there's no point in using Daedric mace even though it looks far more badass ^_^ The one weight difference doesn't really matter, but daedra hearts are hard to come by at first so ![]() Every other daedric weapon has higher base damage than ebony so...Not sure why that happened to maces ![]()

Should I start a face to face combat character to get a better experience? Also, are spell blades weak? As in, Mage robes + a one handed weapon + conjuration/destruction/restoration in other hand? It's a single player, so all that matters is if you enjoy doing it. If you feel it's lame, play another way! If not, play like that if you like it! The spell blades for me were quite strong, I used the bound sword for a long time and it was competitive with pretty much everything I found to use - but eventually you will want a better one, my crafted sword quite heavily outperforms it (but that's with high smithing/enchant/alchemy crafting). The bigger issue with that build is not feeling too squishy if you go in close, which realistically is very hard to do while keeping a good level of destruction for example. I started off as a mage (going destruction) but wanted to do more magic than just destruction, so ended up branching into conjuration and if you invest in the 1h like I did, it's difficult to keep your other magical skills which aren't about buffing you/healing you high. Either you need the alteration talent which doubles armour from its spells if you're not wearing any armour pieces, or you need some good armour to use.

Spell blades are good considering you have a high level of conjuration (which level up very quickly when summoning blades), there's even some perks to improve damage and stuff if you really want to use them. What I did with my 3rd char was dual wielded summoned blades + alteration/restoration, can make the game very easy with followers (even in master). So ya, definitely viable.

This one is so good If you can find Morrowind gold edition at a good price it's definitely worth it. The quest lines are much deeper than Skyrim :0 You could just wait for Skyrim mods though...It's like getting a whole extra game for free ![]()
