if you want to sell misc and jewelry in whiterun just go to the market place and go into Belethors shop. He buys everything.
And seeing that video with the giants makes me happy that I am able to oneshot them allready

I agree on point number 1. Im constantly sneaking around wondering if i should shoot someone with my bow or not... and its not exactly common sense whether theyre hostile or not. I always hear people talking to each other worried about shit, and im like "oh they probably need my help" so i run up to them, only to have them start wailing on my face. The first time i saw a giant i contemplated attacking him, assuming he was hostile, but when i ran up i thought it was sweet that he just looks down at me with a quizzical look on his face.

If your FOV is over 80 and you cast a spell, you get a bunch of holes in your arm.
Not that I care, I play exclusively in Third Person. I don't know how you people can play in First, it just is so annoying. Your weapons take up like 90% of your screen, and it's literally just watching your blades swing around and shit. If you're a mage, your screen is covered in particle effects. If I wanted that kind of shit, I'd watch a Micheal Bay movie.
Playing in Third Person, especially as a Thief, is so much more satisfying. Makes it much more like an RPG in my opinion, especially with these awesome animations. Maybe this opinion will change when I play a shield/sword character.
My god I am an idiot. I've spent two days playing this game running to each location because I didn't realise you could fast travel to visited locations. I placed a "custom marker" on like the first quest by accident and couldn't figure out how to remove it; so I just stopped clicking on the map. Then I was watching JP stream and was like "wtf how the hell is he jumping from locations". Well I will tell you what; what a relief! Running back and forth from the top of that god damn mountain really sucked.

I just walked up to this fort, it's in front of Riften, I thought: oh a nice little fort to protect their city.
Nope, fucking bandits and they talk so eloquently and well, I fucking got arrow'd hard.

If you aren't in town chances are they're going to be hostile. There are rare occasions where a friendly person will run up to you, but you should just save often ^_^
Plus if you kill a random person as long as nobody can go tell the guards you won't get any bounty for it. Leave no survivors ^_^
Considering Im currently supposed to go kill some vampires I might wait till I have the option of reverting vamprism. Need a spell etc etc. Oh well I guess after 24 hours in game its finally time to go up those 7000 steps or whatever. :/
So how about you guys share some awesome loot huh ? I remember in oblivion and morrowin there were unique quests with unique item rewards like azure start etc. AIs that still in this game ? Im lvl 26 and havnt found much so far
Also any good mods out yet ? Im searching for something like a leveling mod - no level cap and no diminishing returns from skill points. A respec would be helpfull too.

your a noob.
1) If someone is bad there will be a red dot on the compass thing
2) Theres always rich merchants in elder scroll games. I havent played enough skyrim tho to know where they are yet but they're somewhere.
3)look at your local map or read the sign posts outside the shop

I haven't really gotten any good loot yet, but i really liked wearing my Forsworn Headdress around because of how ridiculous it looks. Awesome running around town just looking a giant deer on its hind legs.
I know what she meant. All this shit was changing so fast, and she just wanted the old ways back of a simple group of bros, sitting around a camp fire talking about their kills and laughing together. At least the chick and THREE DAAAWWWG survived. I just wish the Mage survived, he was my favorite.
is it even possible to save him? I'll honestly go back and reload the saves, and do all that again if I can just save more.

Going to the Shrine of Talos in Whiterun removes Sanguine Vampiris
the most broken build ever, mage/archer assasin. basicly Magic rapes everything in this game but usually you don't have enough mana for all the enemy's. so i leveled up archery and sneak abilities so basicly you can 1 shot every enemy and if your sneaking abilities are high enough you can kill 4-5 enemies before your detected. the weakness in archery is it sucks balls when you are detected and in boss situations, there you take out ur fireball and kill off the boss ez. I'm only level 25 and I can kill every guard in the town without getting discovered and I 1 shot all of them =.= broken as hell

And you're a dick.
There is almost never a red dot on the compass for me unless I've already engaged them.

Its fun isnt it :D why not try a higher difficulty setting if you find it too easy?

It was just caps lock in all the other Elder Scrolls games, playing this one on 360 so I'm not entirely sure about Skyrim.
