You just position the pick, and then try to start turning, if it stutters, you're not close, the move it moves before stutter the closer to the sweet spot you are. I don't bother trying to move the pick as I rotate seems too hard. Just start somewhere and if it stutters immediately move it a fair ways to another spot. (not sure if pressing A or D to turn it makes a difference)

I am having problems with a huge delay of my input. For example when i move my mouse or just walk with a,w,s,d - the game reacts 1-2 seconds later
Anybody had the same problem and knows how to fix this?

or do people who bought it also have this problem??
It probably is, just noticed they had an update from 130mb with the comment "we forgot some files lol"

Got German version, I hope it is already possible to download English audio and text via stream, like Bethesda said it would. gogogogo so excited :D

Just played it for a few hours and I must say, this is such a beautiful game and god damn there is so much shit to do. Every quest I plan on doing, I pick up like 3 more side quests.
|
hows the 3rd person play?
|
I'm really impressed on how well it runs on my laptop. The laptop is about a year and a half old but mind you it is a "low power" consumption one with a 1.6ghz dual core CPU.

lol wow so playing this game for the little bit I did today it seems unoptimized. Idk I should be getting consistent 60 fps not 35-60 of it jumping everywhere this game should not be more demanding them BF3 which I get a consistent 50-60 fps 99% of the time.
gtx 570 i5 2500k 3.3 ghz 8 gigs of ddr 3 ram windows 7 64 bit.
I am curious if people with same specs as me are having this?

Lower graphic settings.

I have been playing for 3 hours and 45 minutes.....It is awesome.....The spells feel so intense.....The combat is improved. I could go on and on, but I won't. In short is is everything the hype said it would be. I dont know what people are complaining about, the UI is really not that bad....You can use the mouse to point and click....you can rotate objects.....Why are people complaining? Btw I am running on High settings almost flawlessly. One crash to the desktop when i was fukin with AA.
specs AMD duel core 64x 4600 2.4 ghz (old but still semi decent) GTS 460 OC edition 3gig of ram
If my computer can run this game this good, most people shouldnt have a problem at all.

Probably only pirated, honestly I haven't had any control related problems since i started the game ~5 hours ago, i just turned the sensitivity up a bit.

Is it just me, or are the menus kind of annoying to use? It's like, the game itself is awesome for the keyboard mouse, but i feel like using a controller for the menus... Edit: It's a legit copy guys, before anyone brings it up

Holy hell, the master locks are freaking ridiculously hard to break. I spend a good 18 lockpicks to take it on.

Found out why some of you might be having FPS issues, and frankly I'm pretty choked about this. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/skyrim-performance-benchmark,3074-9.html The link shows that high clock speeds are much more important than the number of cores beyond two. You can see in the second graph that increasing the number of cores beyond two doesn't actually affect performance. Huge oversight by Bethesda, not including support for more than two cores. This game is severely CPU bottle-necked, and we're pretty much SOL until someone comes up with a solution to this, be it the modding community or Bethesda themselves. I just find it upsetting that my rig could handle the highest settings if the game was actually coded to make use of my hardware. I thought quad-core was standard these days.

Yeap.
It seems the menus were designed for a console.
Quite irritating.
