I had this problem when I unlocked the game via VPN. But when I unlocked the game legit I didn't have that problem.

Had one runtime error that crashed the game but other than that, it's been smooth running on ultra (it defaulted to medium/high with 8x antialiasing, which is dumb so I set it to ultra and 2x antialiasing, and barring a few indoor textures, it looks quite good). It's 2AM and I would rather not stay up all night so I quit for the day and will instead get up early tomorrow and marathon for the whole day since everywhere is closed here for Remembrance Day anyway. I can see myself putting in tons of time with this game. It seems like a lot of fun so far. I made a Khajiit thief and have already had fun assassinating random people I run into on the road and stealing stuff even though I can't sell it yet as I need to find a fence. I can already tell I probably won't finish the main quest until I've done a hundred hours of other stuff. I did the exact same thing with Oblivion because I found the side missions to be way more fun (especially thieves guild).

I still haven't figured out the levelling system. In Oblivion it was dumb but straight forward so I could level my sneak up really quickly and be set. It seems to be a little less straight forward in this game.

Uh, I changed my controls to be a lot like Oblivion (POV change is mouse wheel, sheath is F, etc.) and now I can't favorite items because, for me, it makes me drop items using F and nothing happens with R or mouse wheel.

Hopefully this gets patched, changing POV with mouse wheel feels so natural.

So, i went to Riverwood and killed a chicken in town while walking, and a important quest NPC went apeshit and attacked me.

Now, I go back and I'm attacked again by EVERYONE in the town. I killed them all with ease, but it's still going to fuck up some quest.

Really needs to be fixed, killing a chicken doesn't justify going apeshit.

if somebody killed your pet dog would you not go apeshit?

anyways this game already feels alot better than Oblivion. Hate how consolized it is though. but wateva ill take this game way over Oblivion.

Question relating to first college quest (more technical/graphics related, but spoilered to be safe)

So I've joined the college, and am in the middle of the Saarthal Ruins quest, I pick up the first amulet, It locks me in, and when I cast either sparks or the fire thing on the wall where the amulet was, my game freezes or crashes. I'm guessing my computer can't handle the wall breaking into pieces?

I've been running it on medium, but I tried turning everything to low and that didn't help
The intro sequence worked fine on high even, and that involved plenty of collapsing things

Does anyone know of some setting I could tweak to make this work?

Ugh, I'm so bad at lockpicking QQ
Wasted like 20 on 1 novice lock because I have no idea how to do it. I'm slowly getting better at it but lockpicks are really hard to find.

In oblivion I always saved right before picking a lock and loaded the save whenever I lost more than 3 lock picks. Helped a lot.

Having fun so far, but I was never a superfan of the genre/series so it might take a while for me to truly get in to it, if I do at all, unlike things such as Mass Effect where I'm just a complete fanboy and finish it in the first 40 hours.
