Everyone needs to read this. A very exciting article, if everything turns out how they say. Reeks of the promises oblivion failed to deliver though. Heres to being hopeful.

I remember seeing a list posted somewhere online of a lot of the changes though, and it doesn't sound good... wish I could find that post.. >_>

I am very exited for this one. Morrowind was a different place from Oblivion (it was in morrowind, as you can imagine)... I didn't exactly like the leveling system in Oblivion, but the game sure was addicting ![]()

That should be the base for the new game. No autoleveling mobs, maybe fast travel between only major cities. Give me back levitation and jumping, make magic casters more viable at low levels (it's fucking impossible to kill anything with 10 damage on touch spells). Improve the magic casting, there are so many additions they can add now (longer and shorter casting animations to simulate a "cast time".), one and two handed spell casting to make a mix between oblivion fast casting and morrowind casting and weapon switching. I want more spells, more skills (that are useful, unlike enchanting), not less! I also enjoy the crippling of limbs from fallout, and it would be amazing if they could add that to the game some how so it isn't just face rolling into enemies and clicking really fast. More spells like blind and confused that alter your interactions, anything that makes combat more interactive. Hopefully they will do some voice acting, and reading, because I really don't like listening to the same 10 voice actors using different voices. And I want an epic storyline! Oblivions was boring and short. They have many of the great beginnings, and many good improvements they can make. I would enjoy seeing what other people think could be improved. edit: oh and change back stealing, how the hell does anyone know what's stolen? I like the morrowind version where people know when something is stolen and will attack anyone selling any item of that type. why don't you just make your own game, gaaawwdd

Better than Oblivion, most definitely but eh, not ideal in my opinion.

The thing is, a lot of people on other forums were saying how the new "Radiant Story" feature is just another trap to draw people in, and won't live up to its promises like what happened for Radiant AI for Oblivion. I hope this is not the case =/ It does sound really impressive though. Here are the problems I had with NPC part of Oblivion: 1. Recycled Voice Actors. If you met a Redguard, you knew what he was going to sound like. They all had the same voice! 2. While they did get up and do stuff like go to sleep, go to tavern, interact...it seemed very lifeless and everyone pretty much did the same thing others did. There were no differences between different NPCs 3. The interactions between the NPC are all the same and use the planned lines that is used over and over again. " I saw a mudcrab today" line reminds me of this They hyped up Radiant AI just to give us this kind of stuff =/

Water and music. Dunno how they do it but their water always looks spectacular and the music is usually good. I personally preferred morrowind's music over oblivion's but oblivion didn't have a terrible score by any means.
